KING ARCHIE’S POV

“What in the Wereland was that?”

Jay broke the silence after I entered my chambers. My eyes scanned the room and as expected Delta Ardin was still waiting for me in my room. My erratic breath couldn't be tamed neither could I hide my disheveled appearance.

Also, I couldn't turn a deaf ear to my lycan spirit’s question.

However, I didn't know what the hell that energy was.

“I don't know, Jay. it was intense and fightable. Its hold on me and my actions were unbreakable and irresistible. It even made me forget my worries-”

“I was right to call her a pain reliever. How did that happen? At the end of the process, she was still herself except she also felt the strange pull towards you. It wasn't a pull between a king and a subject.” Jay explained the obvious but I didn't stop him, “it’s was more like a pull between marked mates.”

He was right.

The pull was so synonymous with the mate pull. It was strong enough to make me think less of my mother and more of Amanisa as I c

AMANISA’S POV This moment will forever be a part of my memory. And trust me, I had a long list of memories that I would never forget. “Do you have a problem with my order, Princess Violet? Will you like to take Amanisa’s place and duties while she represents you in the palace?” King Archie was beginning to rub off on me and for his reaction, the first impression that I had of him had started fading. The shock on Princess Violet’s face made the whole scenario even more memorable. “Of course not, King Archie. I was just saying-” “Let’s discuss more when I return from my Trip, Princess Violet. I have pressing matters to attend to.” Again, King Archie cut off his chosen mate and he turned away from her and beckoned on me to follow him to the Royal chariot that was waiting close to the palace gate. Princess Violet was clearly wondering how I was able to escape death without the antidote that she chose not to provide. I smiled evilly at the Chosen Princess before spinning around…

AMANISA’S POV He boasted that no one or no force could stop him from entering the tomb but the moment King Archie took steps towards the entrance of the tomb, he was stopped. Stopped by a force that should be on his side. While I thought of all the ways this visit could go wrong and affect me terribly. “What do you think you are doing? You have the audacity to block the way of a king!” Lycan King Archie yelled. I felt his voice resound through my body. The vibration of it shook my body even though I didn't tremble or cower as he dominated the vicinity. His men, that have blocked the entrance to stop him from entering the tomb since it was against the traditions of the Lycans, trembled and bowed, showing that they were still submitted to King Archie’s authority. “Forgive me, My king but this is for the safety of the land and the safety of our King. We can’t let you enter the Royal Tomb against the traditions of the Wereland and that of the Lycans.” Delta Ardin exclaimed after fal

  • The Lycan King's Hot Sin   25. The Damn Throne

KING ARCHIE’S POV I shouldn't be here but what could I have done? My usually rigid heart thumped against my usual ribcage as fear coursed through me as if it was my blood. “The future Lycan King shouldn't be scared, Kovan. You have to be strong.” My mother used to say when I was still the crowned Lycan Prince. She was more involved in my training than my father who was always busy with the realm's affairs and fighting his demons. She had made me who I had become but she also forgot to make me love her less. My mother was the only woman, whose life I was scared for. My fear wasn't connected to the spookiness of the Royal Lycan tomb nor was it because of the superstition that was connected to this place. I was frightened that I would find my mother within this tomb… Dead or alive. The reason I sent Amanisa to the other side of the tomb wasn't because I wanted to cover more ground but It was because I needed to get away from her and pull myself together before beginning my search.

  • The Lycan King's Hot Sin   26. Stay With Me

AMANISA’S POVIt was high time I let it all out. The emotions and the darkness that I had always embraced. It was time to let it all out and truth be told, I couldn't keep it in anymore. The spiritual energy in the tomb was digging its claws into my being.I doubted that anyone would be calm if they find themselves in my position.I doubted that any sane individual would be able to keep up the fake mask… the kind of fakeness that I had been exhibiting. I wasn't really fake. I was just a Lost princess living the life of a slave. My eyes were brimming with tears as I kept my hard glare on the man that had benefitted from every misery that I had been caused to endure. To make matters worse, his father's final resting place was right beside that of my father. To hell with the traditions of the Lycans. How the hell did they allow a traitor to rest in the tomb of royal Lycans? How the hell did a traitor gain the right to rest in peace? Kovan’s father was the man that ruled after my fathe

KING ARCHIE’S POV“Stay with me, Ama…. Please.”I pleaded because I knew that deep down, I couldn’t bear to lose her. Not now… not when I was searching for my mom who could have lost her life.Whatever happened in the tomb was still unfathomable but one thing was for sure, Amanisa knew more than I thought she would ever know. She used to live in Royal Hills and she was friends with Princess Isidora— the only Royal with an unsealed tomb. Moreover, whatever happened in the tomb made me even more connected to Amanisa. The tingles I felt when I lifted her collapsing frame into my arms were out of the world. My heart constricted rapidly and it became so hard to breathe as I ran out of the tomb after pushing the rocky door open. “She could be our fated mate, Kovan. She is just so…”Jay started speaking but he didn't finish. He was as confused as I was. Even if I confirm that Amanisa was indeed my destined mate, I would have to keep that a secret. Even if she wasn't my destined mate, we bo

  • The Lycan King's Hot Sin   28. Deadly And Bloody

AMANISA’S POVI think I am coming down with something. It has to be that because I was beginning to hate myself for appearing so weak. I have been slipping in and out of consciousness for the past few days which was so unlike me. I get that what happened in the tomb was a blessing in disguise but I hated the fact that I had presented myself as a weakling to Kovan. I wanted everyone to know that I was strong and had all it took to destroy everyone that was involved in my parent's death and the extinction of my house. “What you experienced earlier wasn't a trance, Ama. I made it happen so we can escape the Lycan King’s suspicions.” Arla confessed, stunning me.“How is that possible, Arla? it was so similar to how I used to when I was younger. You could have prepared me for that at least.” I etched. It was a pain that I had to appear weak and venerable after pouring out my heart as I did in the tomb. My heart was still heavy because whether I accepted it or not, I have been buried an

AMANISA’S POV “I doubt that, Damon.” Lycan King Archie answered, removing the Alpha title of Alpha Damon. That wouldn't have meant a thing if King Archie hadn't been using the title but removing and releasing his Lycan King Aura made it clear that he was beginning to get irritated. Some of the pack members that were waiting around to escort the Lycan King into the Alpha’s home began to leave because they were aware that if they didn't, they might be the ones to suffer if Alpha Damon and King Archie decided to show off their battling skills. Where two large elephants are fighting, the grasses suffer. The hot tension could be felt because Alpha Damon didn't fail to notice the blatant dishonor that his title was being subjected to nor did King Archie drop his attitude. “... She exhibited fear as she wavered, uttering the name of Alpha Damon whose gaze shifted between king Archie and I. the feeling of familiarity hadn't died down

  • The Lycan King's Hot Sin   30. Weighing Emotions

AMANISA’S POV For twelve years… for all twelve years, nothing had ever broken me like this does. Nothing in the last few days could have made me feel this amount of nostalgia... Not even when I saw my own tomb after seeing that of my parents. Perhaps I should say the feeling I endured in the tomb could compete with the one that was coursing through me at the moment with a strong current… stronger than any that has been recorded. Even the high current of a wave couldn't compete with what was raving within me. Maybe it was the combination of the feeling and emotions I got from vising the tomb and the one I got from walking into this part of the NightShade’s pack area that made the prest emotion so strong and terrifying. But I knew I was feeling something that was stronger than my body could endure. “You have been enduring so much these past few days but I want you to gather your thoughts and don't break, Ama.” Arla comforted me as I stared at the big area that was the cause o

AMANISA’S POV*SIX MONTHS LATER* I was a sweaty mess. My senses were heightened and I stared eagerly at Davina who was still standing in between my legs. I was lying on the same bed Davina pointed at when I asked her some hours ago about the bed I was born in.Davina had said, “That one. Your mother had difficulty with you, Queen Isidora. Are you sure you wnat to push her out on the same bed?” I had nodded without hesitating, choosing that bed and that room to push the Princess Of Royal Hills out of my swollen and tired body. Yes, I just delivered my baby girl and I couldn't wait to see her or hold her even though I was still breathless after pushing for hours. My baby decided to come early but that didn't mean she didn't take a lot of hours to show herself to the world after my water broke. “She is here. The Princess has been born!”Davina exclaimed. I let my head fall on the pillow as Davina walked to me with my bloody bundle of happiness. Ava and Rahela were in the delivery r

KING ARCHIE’S POVContrary to my belief, things were going well. The scent of death was hanging in the air the moment we stepped into the room slowly dissipated. Amanisa and Lulu held their Mom for minutes and we all saw the former Queen heal at the hands of her daughters. Jay questioned, “All they had to do was touch her?” As if Rahela could hear my Lycan Beast, she repeated the same question but audibly, “All we had to do was make her two daughters touch her together?”Davina simply gasped, shocked that her sister was showing signs of life. Lulu answered Rahela’s question, “We have to do more than that, Rahela and that’s where you all come in.” Lulu went ahead to explain that this wasn't how their mom would recover. She also mentioned that she believed that the moment she and Amanisa take their hands off their mom, she would return to her vegetative state… her health might also deteriorate quickly. Since Lulu was knowledgeable, no one questioned her or how she knew what to do.

AMANISA’S POVMy story– our story wasn't getting sadder. At least, I couldn't see it becoming more sad. There was no way I would allow it even though I could feel it in my gut that a lot could still go wrong. Davina said it, in fact. She said my mother was dying… Right after I found the perfect sister, I also realized that my mom has been living in pain for twelve years. What was I saying? This could get worse and very sad. I mean, how was I supposed to be the strong sister when Lulu was breaking as we walked to the forbidden first room? How was I supposed to not break when I was going to see my mom who has been suffering alone and in pain all these years? How would I stay strong when I walked in to see life leaving my Mom’s eyes? It could get worse and I could see myself breaking without restraint. I had a sister to shield but—“No one will stop you from breaking, Ama. You have been strong for many years and you have suffered greatly too. Take the break if you want it.”Arla voi

  • The Lycan King's Hot Sin   142. A Curious Living Dead

KING ARCHIE’S POVEver since Amanisa asked Davina about her Mom and younger sister, I had been in shock. Coupled with Amanisa being unconscious for days, I was partially a curious living dead. I’d asked questions from Davina but she refused to say a word concerning my concerns and Lulu had been sticking around for the past thirty hours for reasons I didn't know until she revealed that she was Amanisa’s sister… The same sister that I kept wondering how she could exist. I mean, I had never heard of a second child of Queen Idalia and her mate. But from the look on Davina's face, it sank in that there was still so much I needed to know about my mate. Amanisa was shocked as well and Rahela and her girls were equally shocked as Lulu wept her heart out in Amanisa’s arms– a place I wanted to be but couldn't be at the moment. Jay etched, “I can’t believe this. Lulu is her little sister and her mom, Queen Idalia who we all thought was late is alive and in the next room to us…”Yes.. that w

AMANISA’S POVThe first voice I heard belonged to Kovan. I didn't realize how long I had been out but I heard my mate’s voice first. Kovan etched, “You still won’t tell me what she was referring to before she passed out?”Obviously, Kovan was speaking to Davina whose presence could be felt as my eyes fluttered open. My eyes met with Lulu’s sad eyes the moment they opened and the little but grown girl gasped as her eyes widened. I smiled at her and her lips trembled which made me wonder why she was so sad. That was unlike her.Davina responded to Kovan before she realized that I was awake, “I can’t say anything until Amanisa wakes up. I am sorry, My King.” “You don’t have to be sorry, Aunt Davina. I am already awake so you can begin.”I let out breathlessly. As their eyes shifted to me, I winced. My neck was still aching which meant that I had not fully healed from Byron’s tight hold. How long was I out for exactly?“Amanisa!”“Ama!”Davina and Kovan exclaimed simultaneously. Both o

AMANISA’S POV“Two…”Davina let out through the mind link. Byron, on the other hand, kept yelling to get the Gammas to obey him but after I had announced that Kovan doesn't have to beg or listen to Byron anymore, Byron lost the little power he had over everyone.“Now!”Davina declared and with the little breath I had left, I pushed my hands upward, grabbing Byron’s ugly face. “What the fuck do you think you are doing? Do you have an immediate death wish–”Byron cussed at me but the sudden splash of water on his body cut his irritating voice off. Byron yelled at the healers behind me, “What did you do that for?”Lulu’s soft voice broke out, responding, “You will find out in three, two, one…”I didn't let Lulu finish counting before I dug my fingers into Byron’s eyes and immediately, Byron screamed, not just because of my attack but because of the effect of the cleansing water as well. His hold on my neck loosened.“Ahhh.”Violet gasped loudly, jumping away from Byron when she reali

AMANISA’S POVPlease… Just two minutes, Kovan… I need two minutes to save you… to save us all from his clutches.“Bury me alive, Curtis… Do it now.”Kovan’s voice still found a way to hit my eardrums even though I was literarily dying from Byron’s tight hold. His palms were big enough for one of them to wrap around my neck, choking me, and restricting me without him breaking a sweat.“You are almost there, Isidora… Please don’t give up.”Davina’s voice spread in my mind. I could feel myself getting drained. Although the energy I was trying to move from Byron’s chest had been pulled up to his throat or somewhere around that part of his body, I could still fail. But I couldn't let myself fail… I had too many people counting on me. “I think it’s time we move to the tomb. I mean you can’t miss this, Baby.”Violet whispered sweetly which would have made me cringe if I wasn't losing my strength slowly. Byron chuckled, “I can't be there while they bury him. Tradition says that while he

KING ARCHIE’S POVSomething wasn't right. I could feel it in my guts that something was wrong with how fast Amanisa struck my demonic cousin down.“To be honest, he doesn't seem to be breathing well at the moment.” Jay pointed out. “But the knockdown was too easy.”Davina countered, “You don't understand how strong Princess Isidora is right now. Aside from releasing her unused energy, we have shared our energy with her and also weakened the demon. This isn't strange at all, My King.”I begged to differ but Lulu voiced, “We don't have the time to argue. That beast’s energy is getting stronger by the second. Drain him now, Amanisa.”I could hear Lulu’s conviction and fear. She was a child that should be protected from this scene. When did she get here?“We will help you before he bounces back stronger--”Rahela uttered, making me realize that even though Amanisa struck Byron in his demonic state, he had the tendency of regaining his power quickly. And Byron could become stronger with ev

I didn't understand how he could get this string with the power of the same which I defeated with Rahela yesterday but I knew one thing… Certainly.Certainly, I had to fight this huge, ugly, and unnatural strong demon trapped within the spiritual cage before me.Was I scared?Yes. That fact has been established even before I set my eyes on the new Byron. But was I still doing this regardless of my fear?Again, Yes. There was no other option. Everyone here is looking up to me. I was their hope and I wasn't about to fail them. Therefore, I swallowed my fear and declare, “Let's get the funeral started.”Seeing how fast Byron was growing, the healers wasted no time after my declaration. They started chanting. My eyes caught sight of Lulu amidst them. She was also chanting with her hands stretched toward the cell. I was terrified that a young child li
