The lady who I'd come to know as Nora led me into the house, walking ahead of me, giving me time to take in the sight in front of me.

Right from the moment I stepped into the house, my mouth had fallen open. This wasn’t a house, it was a palace.

It was purely magical, like a place right out of a fairytale. The ceiling was far above us, giving the large chandelier enough space to shine.

The ground floor was big, big enough to accommodate the large steps in the middle of it. There weren’t any couches but there were vases and ancient decorations. All these looked very expensive.

I’ve never seen any place like this before in the Wolf Kingdom, it’s no wonder they were trying earnestly to take over their kingdom.

‘C’mon. Your room is upstairs.”

I looked back at Nora and nodded slightly.

“My name is Nora, I’m Adrian’s Beta. I also train the military. I hope we can be friends.”

My mouth almost dropped. The Beta wanted to be friends with me…a slave?
