I'd gone for a walk. I needed to clear my head before I lost it in that house.

Kaya was very mad, she didn't bother to hide it from anyone and since she wasn't speaking to me for the way I acted towards Ava, this just made things worse.

Before long, she packed up her things and came downstairs.

“I’m leaving. I'm done with this, Adrian! I'm done with the lies and secrets.”

There was nothing I could even say to her to convince her otherwise. Nora was trying to speak to her but I knew it was pointless. She already had plans to leave a while ago and with Ava's coming, she decided to postpone her plans.

“Why’re you acting like this? Why're you acting like you don't care about her?”
