Chapter 99

Maxwell walked beside his father in the woods.

"How long is it going to be before we can find her, I'm getting exhausted already", his aged father voiced out.

He whined like a child for a man of his age and it was becoming irritating to Maxwell.

His son had tried to keep it in from the beginning of the journey but now that it was getting a little out of hand, Maxwell too was becoming angry.

He swiftly turned to his father with a deadly glare.

"If you know you want to come on this journey, then follow me but if you do not want to, make sure you keep that damn mouth of yours shut. You're irritating me!"

He yelled at his father while he clenched his fist.

His father's eyes were wide open and his lips shook uncontrollably. The old man was too stunned to speak.

Maxwell drew in a deep breath seconds later. He took a step back and had now come back to his senses.

Maybe shouting at his father was not the best idea.
