Chapter 90

Amelia woke up to warm arms wrapped around her waist and shoulder. She sniffed into the bend of it and smiled.

The familiar scent of her mate caused her insides to calm themselves.

Alex shifted, leaning more into him while she tried to face him.

Alex was still sleepy from his voice and the way he answered.

"Good morning my beautiful Luna" he tightened his embrace on her.

"Good morning," she managed to turn to face him, "How did you sleep?"

Amelia felt something poke her on her abdomen. It moved as though it had a mind of its own. She smiled. Judging from the texture of it on her raw skin, the way it rose and fell, Amelia knew it was part of him.

"Want some more?" Amelia blinked as she came back to the present. She saw his wide grin with his right eyebrow raised mischievously. She wanted to laugh but laughing would mean a 'yes'.

She frowned instead, "Now. It's time to get serious. We have other things to worry about".
