Greg anxiously waited outside the kitchen, the bustling sounds of clinking plates and hurried footsteps echoing in the background.

His heart beat with anticipation and nervousness as the chefs prepared to bring the perfectly prepared supper to the royal family.

Would whatever plan Aretha had in mind work? Would he be able to find Lady Kazia and deliver the letter that held such importance to Kavan, and was his key to getting paid three thousand peros?

Just as doubt began to creep in, Greg spotted Aretha making her way toward him. She had a weary expression, which was a convincing portrayal of someone who wasn't feeling well.

They exchanged a brief nod of acknowledgment before stepping away from the bustling kitchen and finding a secluded spot to speak.

"I managed to take permission from the head chef to leave early," Aretha explained, her voice hushed.
