Chapter 28

A few days later Symphony was training with Gavin and the uneasy feeling came back. It had distracted her enough that Gavin was able to perform a sneak attack on her and she missed it and hit the ground hard. When she got up, she scanned the area and didn’t see anything.

Gavin noticed her distraction and questioned her about it. She told him about the uneasy feeling that she was getting again, and he told her to go see Alexander and tell him. He also told her that they were done with training for the day as he was going to go on a run to check the perimeter.

She headed inside and was met with the smell of peppermint. Alexander must be in the kitchen for the smell to be that strong. She let her nose lead her.

Sitting at the table was Alexander, she had been right. He looked up at her with a smile.

“Done with training already?” He asked.

“Yeah, Gavin told me come in because I was distracted by the same uneasy feeling that I had at the party. He said he was going to check things out
