CHAPTER 7 BLACK OUT
Damien stared at his beautiful Luna enjoying the shocked expression on her face when she saw the pack house.
He wasn't surprised because that was how most people behaved whenever they saw the house. But looking at her, he enjoyed her facial reaction as she looked more pretty.
Suddenly her reaction changed into one of a terrified person, she looked extremely scared.
He noticed she wanted to say something but nothing came out of her mouth.
He was about talking to her when she blacked out, she was about falling to the ground but he caught her just in time.
He looked at the direction she was looking at before blacking out and he saw his gamma approaching in his wolf form.
He carried her bridal style and walked into the pack house.
==============
"She isn't a human, is she?" Oliver asked. He had a doubt when he saw her green eyes, aside the eyes there was something different about her. She looked unusual.
His doubt had just been confirmed when she clearly saw Derick in his wolf form.
For shapeshifters like them, once they were in their wolf form, it automatically meant they were in another realm and no human could see them.
There are huge possibilities of other creatures seeing them but no human could, except a human that was turned to a werewolf.
" I don't think she is. I mean she clearly looked in my direction, she saw me in my wolf form and kept on looking at me with a terrified face before she blacked out." Derick said.
Derick was the supreme Gamma and assistant for Damien, even though Derick sometimes behaved extremely recklessly and childishly he was one of the most reliable and strongest wolf in the pack.
Derick felt like his wolf needed to be let out when he shifted into his wolf form.
Unfortunately, Aurora saw him immediately after he shifted. He saw her look towards his direction and she kept on looking without taking her eyes off.
He concluded that she was probably a werewolf or a fae or any other creature.
"She isn't," Damien said softly, staring at Aurora from the large window that separates her from them.
Aside from the fact that Rhea, the moon goddess, told him centuries ago that his mate isn't a human, he knew she wasn't just by looking at her.
"I don't think she is a guardian angel either," Oliver said.
"She is a witch, a white witch" Damien said and Oliver snapped his eyes open.
He didn't ever think that Damien would have a mate, a white witch for that matter. He hadn't heard or seen where a white witch was a mate to a wolf, an Alpha for that matter.
"You mean our Luna is a white witch?!" Oliver asked and Derick looked extremely confused at the duo.
"Wait, wait, hold up!. Who is our Luna? I mean Damiem doesn't have a mate so how would we have a Luna?"
"She is Damien's mate dummy!" Oliver retorted.
"What did you say?! A mate? Are you joking now?. Damien was cursed to not have a mate remember?"
Damien glared harshly at Derick which made him shudder and take a step back, he always had little problems with Damien because of his mouth, literally.
"For your information, she is Damien's lost mate and our Luna, I don't know how too" Oliver cleared the atmosphere.
Damien walked into the room where Aurora lay without bothering to clear the air on how his mate was a white witch.
He sat beside her waiting for her to wake up from her unconscious state out of the shock she felt when she saw Derick in his wolf form.
He took his time to admire her, her extremely long lashes that adorned her eyes, her soft brunette hair and her pretty face.
Aurora flickered her lashes and opened her eyes, she looked above her head only to see Damien staring down at her.
She looked around her trying to fathom where she was until she remembered how she saw a wolf approaching her and how she black out.
'This people aren't human, I mean all of them. I mean they all acted like it was nothing they didn't react to the approaching wolf' Aurora thought to herself.
Fear gripped her by the thought that these people weren't human. She sat up and looked at Damien in fear, she started retracing back away from the bed in an attempt to run away from the room.
Damien, who was about to ask Aurora if she was okay, saw her trying to get away from the bed, and a frown fell on his face.
His mate looked scared and he didn't like the fact that she looked scared mainly by looking at him.
"Where are you going? I won't hurt you.'' he said, holding her hands softly.
"I want to go back home," Aurora said.
"Home!, This is home. You are my mate and Luna to the Crescent Moon Pack, this is your home" Damien said, trying to make her understand that she belongs here.
He couldn't even think of letting her out of his sight for fear of him not finding her again.
To think he told the moon goddess that he would end her life when he sees her, he wouldn't even do a single harm to her nor let any other person do so.
Aurora chuckled at Damien's words, she didn't know that the CEO of Quinn Enterprises was a mad person and he needs to be taken to the mental institution.
Come to think of it, what if he wasn't the real CEO, what if they just lied to get her all piped up?
"I'm no mate to anybody, neither am I a Luna to any pack. I am Aurora, I only came out of my city to look for a job. I didn't come here to meet weird people, alright?. Having said that I need to go back to Auburndale I don't need any job anymore." She said and tried standing up.
CHAPTER 8 HANDSOME WOLF"I'm no mate to anybody, neither am I a Luna to any pack. I am Aurora, I only came out of my city to look for a job. I didn't come here to meet weird people, alright?. Having said that I need to go back to Auburndale I don't need any job anymore." She said and tried standing up. "Auburndale?Do you live in Auburndale?" Damien asked. "Yes that's where my house is and that is where I'm going back to" she said, tired of repeating the same thing over again. "No wonder I couldn't find you sooner" Damien muttered to himself but Aurora heard it. What did he mean by "find you sooner"?Does it mean this bizarre man had been looking for her? Oh God! Damien wondered why he hadn't been able to perceive and trace her cause that was how the mate bond worked. &n
CHAPTER 1 PROLOGUE. A young lady who shone so brightly was sitting on a white chariot. Her silky long flowing hair is beautified with a moon shaped crown. The silver dress that she wore illuminated her surroundings as her body radiated the moonlight. She was Rhea, the moon goddess. In front of her laid a Lycan with a very muscular body marred with newly bad bruises and batters. His eyes were like a substitute of blood, very red tinted with rage and spite. As much as he had a very remarkable healing ability, the wolfsbane slowed down the healing process. A wolfsbane is a liquid, silver in color that can weaken a werewolf. "This isn't over..." Goddess Rhea's voice echoed in his head, ringing so loud like a mysterious instrument. Behind them was the aftermath of war. Bodies of different kinds were laying on the ground coupled with their over flowing rivers of blood. "They are still after you, they are alive. Alive but weak" Goddess Rhea continued. She looked down
CHAPTER 9 OVERBEARING MAN"What! No!...No! No!. You don't have to come with me to Auburndale. I can go by myself and pack up my things. I sincerely don't need your kindest help. Thank you for the offer though but you don't really have to go through all that stress Mr Quinn I can do it myself, alright" Aurora said, being a little sarcastic. "No you don't have to be all that formal, I love stressing myself over things like this of course that's why I'm a CEO. Plus it's concerning my mate and Luna so why not?." Damien said and grinned. He knew what she was trying to do and he just replied in the same vigor as her. Aurora rolled her eyes secretly thinking Damien wouldn't notice but he did anyway. "Alright sweetheart. Let's go" Damien said. Sweetheart?! Where did this come from?Oh God? This man is arghh?!

CHAPTER 10 Crazy Things, Crazy People. Aurora hurriedly got down from Damien's car and headed straight towards her house. She wanted to get into her house first and tell them that her soon to be boss is coming with her and they shouldn't act off. She rang the doorbell and waited a little but no response. She rang it again and again until she heard the door click. The door knob twisted and the door opened to reveal Aurora's mom with flour in her hands. "Mom!!!" Aurora said. "Aurora dear, how are you? How was the interview? Did you get the Job?" Her mom asked without even stopping. She was worried for her dear child as she had gone job hunting for a while now without getting one. She sincerely hoped her daughter would get the job. "That's all a long story mom but&hell
CHAPTER 11 BLABBER BEAK"Actually Aurora has never liked you, Mr Quinn." Everyone heard little Alan say and Aurora felt her heart coming out of her throat, what is Alan saying?!. Everyone is definitely going crazy. " What are you saying Alan dear, don't tell lies about your elder sister alright" Aurora's mom said rubbing her son's head. "Leave the young lad, let him talk" Damien said smiling. That sarcastic smile that never left his lips, especially in times when he wasn't supposed to smile. Aurora faked a cough trying to give her little blabber beak of a brother a sign not to talk but he didn't even spare her a look. "So you said your sister never liked me?" "Yepp" he said, taking out the last cereal and scooping it into his mouth. "Since the day Raphael didn't get a
Chapter 12. BAD NEWS Rain poured down heavily over the land of Dundee. Each drop followed by another, making it sound like a rhythm if listened keenly. The outpouring of the rain made the sky darker than it should be at that time of the day. Water flowed down the half empty gutters washing it over and over again. As if merciless, the rain poured down heavier drenching people under it including the man on a big brown coat that made his way to a house.
