You didn't tell me

They said nothing about the interview, and it scared me to ask them about it. I was still sore from last night and didn't want them to order me to spread my legs once more if I wanted to see them at my office.

I left their house early to get ready for work. They said nothing about the interview and I didn't remind them of it, opting to leave them to whatever they decide on. They didn't offer to drive me home like I thought they would, which further solidified my claims about them not showing up at my workplace.

I got dressed for the office earlier since I returned by 6. I didn't bother with a heel, knowing I might not take over 10 steps in it before my legs gave way. Had I not been eager for work, I wouldn't have gone out today. I would have spent the rest of the day soaking in my tub and begging the ache to ease.

Making my hair took me close to thirty minutes because of the twin braids I had made at the front. I was tired of tying my hair up in plain ponytails and buns. Which was
