A terrifying silence

I had to blink thrice to be certain I wasn't hallucinating. It took my mind some minutes to process what was happening, and when it did, I sprang to action.

“Stop!” I rushed over to the men whom I least expected to see in a place like this. I didn't even know how it happened or how they got to be here at the moment. All my mind was focused on was getting them separated from Ken, whom they might kill at any moment.

He was no match for the brothers, who were not only bigger than him but happened to be two.

“Stop!” I held on to Blue's hand. “You are hurting him!”

He stopped and turned to face me. A gasp left my mouth as I let go of his arm and took a step back. Blue looked murderous. His eyes had turned into a complete golden colour, which I knew might be because of the fluorescent light. But at that moment, it seemed like I was looking into the eyes of another man — a monster.
