The smirk on his face makes me want to hit him. Somehow, I keep it together.

There was movement upstairs. Most likely Blue was coming from her room and she did not need to see me throwing the first punch. Even if her wolf had threatened me not long ago.

Jaxon glances to the ceiling, frowning.

“She is clearly on her way down.” I mutter.

“She said she was staying in her room. I just sent Ophelia up with some bits. Something isn't right”

There is a massive crash above us and Jaxon charges past me. Following him, I raced up the stairs, closely behind my brother, taking two at a time.

“STOP.” Blue screams at the top of her voice. “Please, stop.”

Bursting into her room, we find our father, pinning her to the ground and trying to pour some liquid in her mouth. I could already smell it. Wolfsbane. It was strong too. Probably enough to do damage to Blue as well as her wolf.

“FATHER!” Jaxon charges him, knocking him off of Blue. The vial shatters on the carpet, the remaining liquid spill
