Norwan watched Natalie walk away from him, a smirk formed on his lips while watching her walk away from him. He couldn't believe that Natalie really broke their relationship; for Norwan, this is all stupidity as Natalie chooses to terminate their mateship to say sorry to Cora when in the first place, Norwan was the one who gave that choice to her.
"If that's really what you want, then go; marrying you was a big mistake in my life… now that our mateship is already terminated, I will pursue Cora now and marry her," Norwan said in his mind and sighed as he no longer saw Natalie.
"Am I going to pack all her things in your house?" Norwan looks to hiss Beta as it asks the question.
"Yes, and send it to her place. Don't leave anything from her in her room; do inform the maids to clean it up and move all Cora's things there; that will be Cora's new room." Norwan said as he start to walk away from the Moon Goddess altar.
Meanwhile, as Natalie walks away from Norwan, her chest hurts like her heart. This is probably the very first time that she walks away from Norwan, it is always Norwan who walks away from her constantly, and it made her feel sad every time Norwan did that, but now that she's the one who did what he did to her back then, it gives chills at her, but at the same time it gives her pain knowing that she will no longer return to him again and there is no reason to stay with him and fight for what she felt for Norwan.
Everyone in town now knows what happened to Cora, and Drixie was the one who made the news spread in the city, making Natalie the villain in the story.
"This is unfair…" Her tears start forming as it sinks into her mind that they make her the evil Luna in their story, and Cora confirms and even builds an account to make Natalie look bad to everyone.
"THIS IS REALLY UNFAIR!" A cold wind blew, and with that, a drop of rain started to come until it became heavy rain; Natalie was now numb and didn't care about the rain. She was getting wet by it, but she felt nothing but anger in her heart. Anger for Norwan, Cora and Drixie.
"I should listen to my father back then…" Natalie said to herself and looked up to the sky; a cold smile formed on her lips as she remembered how she had broken their pack's rule for him. Her father almost rejected her back then because of his anger toward her daughter for breaking the rules.
"I should listen to you, Dad.." She said and stopped walking; she started to cry in the rain.
"I hate you, Norwan!" she shouted out of pain and cried even more.
"I told you a Luna shouldn't chase her mate, don't I?" Natalie was stunned from her place as she heard that familiar voice; she then looked up and saw a very familiar face who was also showering from the rain.
"Father…" she whispers, her tears forming even more as she sees her father's smiling face.
"You're a stubborn woman, Natalie. You really just like your mom." Her dad said, and with that, Natalie hugged her dad so tightly and cried in his arms.
"Oh, my little Luna, someone makes you feel like this… Daddy doesn't want to see you like this, you know that." Grego said while hugging his only daughter.
Norwan arrived at his mansion and saw some maids pulling Natalie's things from her room. He stopped walking and saw one envelope on top of the luggage; he got it and looked at what was inside it.
He suddenly frowned as he saw that it was two plane tickets for Maldives. It has a letter at the back saying 'for Norwan's birthday' he also saw an initial mark of Natalie in the envelope. Hence, he knows this belongs to Natalie, but witnessing the note at the back makes him feel very empty, knowing that her mateship with Natalie has already been terminated.
"Norwan, I didn't know that you will be back at home so very early today, I was planning to make you a food for dinner," Cora said who is walking towards him with a vast smile at her face. Norwan looks at her, smiles, and hides the ticket in the envelope again. Cora noticed that, so she looked at the envelope and looked back to Norwan.
"What is that?" She asked. Norwan looked at the envelope and smiled at Cora,
"Nothing, a paper from the company, some business invitation." Norwan lied, so Cora smiled at him and hugged him.
"I heard that Natalie is not returning here again, as your mateship with her has already been terminated," Cora said, secretly hiding her smirk. "I am sorry for what she did; she really doesn't think what her actions will cost her." She added. Norwan just smiled and looked at her and distanced himself from her.
"Yeah, but let her go; that's what she wanted; it's not my loss after all," Norwan said, so Cora smiled at him.
"I think she also deserves that, after what she did to me and to my unborn baby," Cora said and started acting like a little victim in Norwan's eyes.
"Anyways, you will move to Natalie's room from now on." Cora's eyes widened because of what he said.
"Really?!" Cora holds Norwan's hands and hugs him. "Thank you so much!" She said as she hugged him. A little smile forms on Norwan's lips. He then removed her hug and looked at her again.
"I will just go to my room now. I am so tired today; please call me if we are gonna eat." He said, turning his back to Cora and walking upstairs while holding the envelope containing the plane ticket.
"What is happening to me? Why am I feeling empty now that she's no longer here?"
Natalie is now sipping her tea while her dad is watching her; she then puts down the cup of tea on the table and looks at her dad. After their last conversation about not marrying Norwan, Natalie finally has a chance to talk to her dad and tell him everything that happened to her in Norwan's hand."What are you doing there, Dad?" Natalie suddenly asks as she remembers why her dad showering in the rain. Grego sighed, crossed his arms and legs, and leaned into his chair."Your friend told me your plan, and I followed you; I saw it all and heard it all," Grego said, looking earnestly at his daughter. "I have told you not to marry him. He had no interest in you initially, yet you're the one who wanted this, and now look what happened to you." He said to Natalie, who was now looking down to the floor. If she thinks of it, her dad is correct; if she just listens to her dad, this won't happen to her now."I just… love him, dad. I'm sorry," Natalie said, not even looking into her dad's eye.
Natalie looks at the luggage beside Trever, smiles, and signals him to stand."You don't need to bow down to me," Natalie said. Trever looked into her eyes and shook his head. "I am no longer your Luna." She added. Trever sighs, and he knows what Natalie wants to say."For me, you're still our Luna… Madame." He said; Natalie smiled at his words. Trever is Norwan's Beta. His loyalty was only for Norwan, not until Natalie came and saved him from his problem months ago. He views it as his enormous debt to Natalie; he is very grateful that she helped him when Norwan couldn't do so, and with that, Trever swears to Natalie that even though he's Norwan's Beta, his loyalty will split into two and give his half loyalty to Natalie.Trever heard the news about what happened between Natalie and Cora, and he knows already that Natalie couldn't do such a thing as he knows how kind she is. He has this intuition that someone just spread the wrong information to their clan, which leads to gathering in
Because of Trever’s worlds, Norwan suddenly drive his car to terminal where Trever said Natalie departed, he’s hoping that he could saw her at least for the very last time before she left this town. As Norwan arrived at the terminal, he quickly search for Natalie yet as he checked the flight details he saw that the plain that Trver told to him earlier had already departed 30 minutes ago.Norwan suddenly lose all his strength as he look at the flight details, he sat in front of the board and look around. The thing is he couldn’t understand what Trever mean by his word ‘depart’ he thought that Natalie depart from their house to this terminal.Norwan close his eyes and put his hand in his face to cover it up. “What am I doing?” He ask himself as he look around and still search for Natalie’s presence even though he knows that Natalie is no longer here in their city.“Norwan what the fuck are you doing? You fucking want this right? Now what are you doing to yourself? Get up man!” Norwan s
"Don't do that again, Natalie. You're just fooling yourself because of what you did earlier." Natalie sighed because of her friend's words. Lynn also joined Natalie on her city travel, staying with Natalie until she made sure that Natalie was doing well and had already moved on from Norwan.Natalie sits from her designated seat and looks at Lynn, who is frowning at her, while Chad is behind Lynn, who is smiling awkwardly. Chad told Lynn what had happened earlier, and Lynn was so mad because of what Chad had told her."You and he are no longer bound to each other; you are supposed to accept that, Natalie; look what he said to you earlier," Lynn said and sat beside Natalie."I know that. I'm just hoping a little that his heart will soften." Natalie said and sighed. "But I guess his heart will never be softened anymore as he is no longer interested in me." She added. Lynn sighed as she watched her best friend's reaction. While Chad sits in his designated chair, which is in front of Natal
Norwan arrives at his mansion late at night; Cora is waiting at him in front of the main door and immediately stands from her place as soon as she sees Norwan walking in her direction.“Norwan, thank goodness you’re here already; I’ve been waiting for you for an hour; where did you go?” She asked and immediately smelled the scent of alcohol from him.“Did you drink tonight?” She asked and immediately assisted Norwan, who was not in his right mind then; he was already drunk and couldn’t think straight. “Gosh, what are you doing to yourself, Norwan? This is not normal anymore. You drank too much tonight.” Cora said. “Maids! Help me get Norwan to his room!” Cora shouted, which caused all the maids from Norwan’s mansion to get up from their bed and assist Cora and Norwan. Cora puts Norwan down to the floor as she can’t carry him anymore because of his weight; she rolls her eyes and watches the maid put Norwan in his room upstairs.“Make sure he can’t have any wounds,” Cora said as she fo
ONE YEAR LATER.Cora smiles as soon as she sees herself in the mirror; after checking herself, she goes to the dining table and sees Norwan drinking his coffee alone in the dining area. She walks towards him with a broad smile on her lips.“Good morning, handsome.” Cora greets him; Norwan doesn’t look at her; instead, he focuses on the newspaper he’s holding. Cora sighed and went closer to him. “Have you eaten your breakfast already?” She asked.“Yes,” Norwan answers without even looking at Cora. Because of that, Cora frowned and looked at the newspaper he was holding.“What are you reading?” She asked as soon as she read the title of the headline. “Don’t tell me you’re still concerned with your ex-luna; she’s not worth it to think of, Norwan.” She said and sat down beside him. Norwan didn’t look at her; instead, he sat and put down his coffee nug.“Hey, where are you going? Are you not going to join me to eat the breakfast?” She asked and watched Norwan turn his back from her.“I al
“Are you gonna eat here later?” Cora asked while watching Norwan arrange his suit while looking at himself in the mirror. Norwan didn’t look at her as he had already gotten his case.“No.” He said coldly and walked away to Cora. Cora followed him while her brows frowning; she didn’t understand why Norwan acted like this. “Norwan, can we talk for a second?” She asked while following him, but Norwan didn’t even look at her as he continued walking down the stairs.“We can talk later, Cora. There is something I need to do today. I can’t be late.” He said and walked directly to the kitchen to get his drink.“But Norwan, just for a second, please.” She said Norwan was about to walk away with her when Cora blocked his way. Norwan looks at her with his frowning forehead.“About what?” He asked. Cora sighed and crossed her arms.“I don’t get why you’re acting like that, Norwan.” She said, so Norwan chuckled.“What do you mean, Cora?” He asked and took a look at his watch. “I really need to go
Everyone applauds while looking at Natalie, who is standing in the middle with her beautiful smile; she looks stunning at this point with her red curvy gown, partnered by her red mini bag and red heels. Her lips are also red, and her hair is now long, blonde, curly, and wavy; it suits her style today, and everyone in the room is admiring her beauty, including Norwan, who is straightly looking at and watching her action.“I never thought she would look like this… she’s beautiful as ever,” Norwan said with his smile and smiled while watching her, but those smile faded away as he saw Chad put his hand to Natalie’s waist and kiss her cheeks, this boils his blood as he saw what that Beta did to Natalie. Norwan was about to stand when he suddenly remembered something.“What the heck is happening to me?” He asked himself and looked at Natalie again; she was smiling with the guest talking to her.“I forgot, she's no longer my Luna anymore.” He smirks because of what he’s thinking right now. AFTER THREE DAYS.|“Are you really sure about this?” Don Grego’s voice was soft but laced with concern. He paused in the doorway, watching his daughter with a mixture of confusion and worry. Natalie stopped what she was doing, a gentle rustle of papers filling the quiet room. Her gaze briefly met his, and then she offered him a reassuring smile—small, but steady. She nodded once, firmly. Don Grego took a cautious step forward, his brow furrowing. He studied her face, searching for any hint of uncertainty that might reveal a second thought. But there was none. “But why?” he asked, his voice heavy with the weight of fatherly confusion. “I didn’t do anything to make you feel this way… What’s brought this on?”Natalie chuckled softly, the sound almost as if she was trying to lighten the mood, but it didn’t quite reach her eyes. She shook her head, her hands pausing in the task at hand. “It’s not about you, Dad.” Her words were clear, almost too clear, but there was a flicker of something
“Why don’t you kill me now, Natalie? Now that you possess all the power, all the strength to do whatever you please,” Cora asked, her voice steady, eyes locked with Natalie’s. There was no fear in her gaze, no hesitation. It was a challenge. A dare.Natalie stood there, her heart pounding, her breath shallow. Cora’s words hit harder than any weapon, but it was the unwavering defiance in her eyes that made Natalie falter. Cora was no longer the girl she had once known. She was something else now—something far darker, far more dangerous. And yet, she wasn’t afraid. Not of dying. Not of anything. The silence stretched between them, thick and suffocating. Natalie could feel the weight of it. All the anger. All the pain. Everything that had led to this moment.“You ruined my life, Cora,” Natalie said through clenched teeth, her voice low and controlled.Cora's lips curled into a smirk, eyes never leaving Natalie’s. "I know," she answered, voice dripping with bitterness, but there was no re
The wind whistled through the sky as soon as Natalie and Norwan reached the place where Cora was. Cora greeted them with a wide, dark smile, which annoyed Norwan—after all the mess she had made, how could she still smile? Did she have no conscience at all?“What an awful sight for me,” Cora said with a sarcastic sigh, referring to Norwan and Natalie being together.“How could you do this to me, Norwan? You treated me like a toy,” Cora added. In response, Norwan simply tightened his grip on Natalie’s hand, which didn’t go unnoticed by Cora. A smirk formed on her lips as she glanced back at Norwan.“Stop holding her hand in front of me,” she said, laughing. “You told me last time that my hands were enough for you to hold.”“Stop all this nonsense, Cora,” Natalie said bravely. Cora stopped laughing and looked at her in disbelief.“Why would I?” she asked, smirking. “Don’t tell me you’re afraid to lose.”Natalie took a deep breath. “Your men are the ones suffering because of what you’re d
The battlefield was a scene of unspeakable horror. The ground was slick with blood, bodies strewn everywhere like discarded dolls, the air thick with the stench of death. The clash of metal on metal, the screams of dying men, and the endless rhythm of war had not ceased for five long hours. Neither clan had yielded, and the chaos only deepened as the fight raged on. Natalie’s mind spun in confusion as she stood in the midst of the turmoil. She could scarcely comprehend what was happening—men from Norwan's clan fighting alongside hers, yet others, from different factions, turned their weapons on their own. Which clan is this? She wondered, eyes scanning the battlefield frantically, trying to piece together the puzzle that was slowly consuming everything. Her heart hammered in her chest. She needed to find him—Where is Norwan? Her thoughts were a whirlwind of fear, and every second that passed felt like an eternity. She tried to push through the chaos, slashing at the enemies who stood
The tension in the air was thick, a heavy silence hanging over the battlefield as Natalie stood frozen, her left leg planted firmly atop the broken form of Cora’s fallen Alpha. Her gaze swept over her own clan first, then to Norwan, who looked at her with something that resembled both confusion and apprehension. She remained still, exuding an unspoken power, her eyes burning with fury. Then, her attention shifted, and she slowly turned to face Cora’s men.The sight that met her eyes was almost surreal—men who had been so sure of their power, now standing frozen, unable to comprehend what had just happened. Their Alpha, the man they revered, lay at her feet, lifeless. The realization hit them like a hammer, their leader was gone, and they had just witnessed the unthinkable. The cold reality settled over them like a dark cloud. The man closest to Natalie—trembling, his hands shaking—could no longer bear the weight of fear in his chest. The ferocity in her eyes, the silent rage emanating
Norwan couldn't shake the worry gnawing at him as he stared at his mother, locked in a large cage with her hands shackled by chains. He could barely make out her face, but the sight alone sent a wave of anxiety through him."Norwan…" Amanda's whisper barely reached his ears, but it cut through the tension. He could feel her fear in those soft words."WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!" Norwan yelled, his voice breaking through the air as he glared at Cora, who stood calmly before him, a smirk tugging at her lips. She cast a quick glance at Amanda before returning her cold stare to Norwan."Copy her?" Cora replied with an irritatingly casual tone, causing Norwan's frown to deepen in frustration."What do you mean?" Don Grego asked, his curiosity piqued. Cora’s smile widened, her eyes glowing a dangerous red. In an instant, Norwan and Don Grego found themselves pulled into a vision—a painful flashback to the past. They watched as Cora survived Norwan’s attack, lurking in the shadows as she secret
Until now, Norwan couldn’t believe his eyes. The woman he had killed—the woman he had sacrificed so much to eliminate in order to save Natalie—was now standing in front of him, alive. She was here. And not just a shadow of the past, but in full force, with an army behind her. It felt like a cruel joke, a twist in time he couldn’t comprehend. Is she the one behind all this? How did she know we were here? Every question in his mind spiraled into another. She wasn’t just some ghost of his past—she was at the heart of it all, a living nightmare, and everything he had fought for seemed to be crumbling because of her.Cora’s voice broke through his spiraling thoughts, sweet and deceptively soft, like a velvet-covered blade. “Aren’t you happy to see me again, darling?” Her words danced through the air as she looked at him, her eyes sparkling with cruel amusement.Norwan didn’t flinch. His gaze was as cold as the steel under his skin, emotionless and unwavering. He stood like a statue, unread
The two healers from both clans worked swiftly, their hands glowing with energy as they focused on Natalie, who lay unconscious, blood seeping from her wounds. Beside them stood Don Grego, his face pale and twisted with concern. His eyes darted between the healers and his daughter, and yet, a cloud of confusion clouded his mind. He couldn’t understand why he was there, or what had led to this moment. The only memory he could grasp was of being at the hospital, talking to Natalie—until someone had approached him, a woman with strange questions, and then... nothing.“Goddamn, what’s happening? Why are my people here?” Don Grego’s voice trembled, the urgency of the situation growing heavier with each word. Norwan, who had been silently watching the scene unfold, turned sharply at his question. His concern for Natalie matched Don Grego's, but there was a gnawing feeling of unease. Why couldn’t the man remember?“Are you sure you don’t remember anything?” Norwan asked, his voice firm, thou
“I want to talk to her,” Norwan said, his voice firm yet laced with frustration. He looked toward the opposing camp, where Natalie’s people stood, prepared for battle.Natalie swallowed hard, shaking her head in response. “You can’t talk to her like this, Norwan,” she warned, her voice low, filled with tension. She gestured to the two armies that stood poised for conflict, a single misstep could send them spiraling into chaos. “Not with everything on the line. If you make a move now, my men will see it as a threat to me One wrong word, one wrong gesture, and we’re at war.”Norwan’s gaze hardened as he processed her words. He wanted to speak to her, to settle things without bloodshed, but he knew the risks. He couldn’t afford to make a mistake.“You can’t approach her right now,” Natalie continued, her voice softer but urgent. “It’s too dangerous—for your safety, for all of us.”Norwan’s eyes met hers, and he let out a heavy sigh. He knew exactly what she meant. He couldn’t walk into e
