Chapter 2
Frederick Claw ~
“Sofia, Morgana, get her inside.” I said stroking Alessia’s white hair. “Save her! Save my sister!” I added splitting two more arrows aimed at Alessia in half.
“My Lord, we shall do all that we can.” “I promise you.” said Morgana taking Alessia from my blood stained hands and into hers mumbling some words as she made her way back into the coven.
The coven gates went solid shut behind her. I looked all around and found all the troops to be in position. The archers were in formation and the swordsmen were all ready to protect our coven and the queen.
Funny enough, the lycan queen was being protected by my vampire warriors. Odd, isn’t it?
The lycans charged to the coven but with a single howl which I presumed to be some sort of signal, they all stopped in their tracks, still in their lycan appearances.
“Let’s get straight to the point, your majesty! You know what we came here for so bring her and the unborn child out, hand them over to us and we would be on our jolly way.” said the first who appeared to be the chief spokesman of the trio.
“I have told you and whoever that you’re working for and I’ll tell you again. I am the ruler of these woods, if you didn’t get an invite from me, get the fuck outta my lands. I advise you leave now while you still can.” I said giving the trio a good prospect of my blood-thirsty fangs.
“That is unacceptable. You are the son of Alaric, the deceased vampire lord and so matters of the lycans have no business with you. Give us Alessia and I give you my word, we all shall run away just as we came without anyone getting hurt or having to heal.” said the third using his hands to display the entire army of lycans surrounding him.
“Failure to comply by getting out of my way and bringing her forth would result to… Well, I don’t need to give you in detail what happens.” added the third as his arm transformed and after a few seconds turned human again.
“I’ll give you ten seconds to get your men turn around and head out of this forest and off the backs of the royal family or else, same applies to your lycans.” I said exhibiting a clear image of my fangs.
“So sad that we couldn’t meet to an understanding.” said the first before he changed to his lycan form supported by the next two and in the blink of an eye, all the lycans were in unison.
“Kill them all and bring Alessia to me!!!” said the first and the fight began.
“Archers, take your aim!” I said as the charging lycans made way for us. “Hold!! Hold!! Hold! FIRE!!!”
The archers released their first batch of flaming silver arrows and in seconds, lycans who had contact with it fell to their deaths. They were getting closer and closer. It seemed like the shower of silver arrows didn’t make much of a difference in the population of Lycans who were living.
“Chhaarrge!!!” I roared.
Immediately, the entire coven of vampyres charged towards the lycans. My initial intentions were to send them out of the forest but now, sending them to the great beyond sounds more interesting.
The warlocks started their thing; bringing out enchanted orbs and throwing them into the various areas where lycans were prominent. With the proclamation of certain magical words, they exploded releasing a thick cloud of silver.
Many of which died as the silver dust made its way up their noses and into their body. The swordsmen weren’t left out of the fight as they slashed and ran through every being with an extremely hairy physique all around the premises of the coven and then into the inner forests.
The archers continued launching their silver arrows into the air. Everyone was doing the needful to make sure we win this fight and get them off Alessia’s back. I as their king acted as the overall leader in the bloody exchange of scars and deaths.
“Take your injured and go. I can still let you walk out of here with your lives and I intend to, if you just surrender and live!” I said to the hearing of their spokesman.
Not that I was expecting a change of heart or anything but I didn’t feel so comfortable anymore fighting the lycans who had been our ally for thousands of years plus now that my sister, Alessia is their queen, I am in a way, killing her people although it’s for a just cause.
For one thing, whoever was leading them must be a very big coward for not being here himself and for another, whoever the person is, he must be heartless and rotten to the core for wanting to bring harm on an unborn child and her mother.
“Brothers, the young king thinks that he can scare us away with a few arrows made of silver and some awful magic done by his amateur warlocks not to mention those clowns that parades themselves as swordsmen.” “We came for the lady Alessia and by the goddess’ decree, we won’t leave without her.” said the spokesperson sinking his claws into a swordsman and ripping out his gullet.
Time passed by like the droplets of rain and soon we were on the advantage side. I began to feel some pity for the lycans who were slaughtered mercilessly. They were just following orders. It was becoming more and more evident that we were on the advantage side and the lycans, if they don’t surrender, a massacre would be all that they get. I was determined to save Alessia and that determination fueled my spirit with so much power. I continued using supernatural speed to kill lycans down to the last forties who we got surrounded.
“Now, the offer is off. It’s now a repeated command. GET OUT OF MY FOREST!” I shouted sticking my sword into the chest of a lycan, watched as he groaned in pain and eventually died.
The vampire army under me where at my behest to kill these beasts or let them live.
“We’ve won! You’ll never get those filthy hands of yours ever on my Alessia. Not again!” I added erupting my sword out of the corpse of the dead lycan.
“Ha! Ha! Ha! In your dreams Frederick. In your dreams. Who said that we ever lose?” said the spokesman who surprisingly by now was still alive and not ran through by my sword. “Alessia is coming out with us!” he added dropping his hand into a parchment located by his waist and pulled out a bottle containing a liquid that most likely seemed to be blood.
“You can’t stop Lord Cassius from getting the child. No one can! Not even the goddess herself!” said the spokesman before taking in the contents of the bottled-liquid and letting out a dreadful roar.
“What the hell???”
Chapter 3 Sofia Xanders ~ “My lord, we shall do all that we can. I promise you.” I heard morgana say taking the queen Alessia, my best friend from the arms of the vampire king.
Chapter 4 Frederick Claw ~ I watched as the dude who seemed to be the leader of the entire army of lycans placed his hand into a small parchment and brought out a diminutive bottle that appeared to contain a red-colored liquid. He brought the bottle in contact with his lips and in a single gulp, emptied the contents inside his mouth. He let out a loud and somehow dreadful roar afterwards. “Now the real battle begins!!!” said the leader fully transformed into a mutant lycan. “Get out of my way.” Mutant Lycans are very rare and most of all, very powerful. They possessed the powers of the average lycan but just in a thousand fold. I, as a vampyre haven’t seen up to five mutant lycans in my tens of thousands of days and every encounter with one was never pleasant except with the deceased lycan King, Leonard Wolfs. There was a common reason why the experiences stood never pleasant, the same reason why nature made them rare to come by - EVIL
Chapter 5 Frederick Claw ~ I screamed in excruciating pain as the enchanted arrows met my skin. The enchantment done on the arrows prevented me from healing all around that area. They w

Chapter 68Garfield West ~"Be patient! Your time will come." Cassius said before using his left hand to bat Elena to a wall. "In the end, it all leads back to me." Cassius looked Alessia straight in the eyes as he spoke.Elena flew to the hard wall and smashed hard against it. She remained there for a few seconds before she rose up from the ground aiding herself with her hands. Sparks of electricity were visible on her fingertips. He black hair suddenly turned silver and her eyes went solid golden. What's happening to Elena?"I said, STOOPP!!!!" Elena roared before she charged towards Cassius in the blink of an eye and ceased him by the hand pressing hard on it.That was the same hand he had her mother strangled. With so much strength, Cassius hand was getting crushed like it was some cookie and Elena watched his grip on Alessia lessen until his hand was off her."Vampyre ad aulam regis!" Elena said and in a blue cloud of smoke, Ales
Chapter 67Garfield West ~Sofia and Elena followed right behind him. Luckily for them, Cassius wasn't at the other side of the portal. The first thing Elena set eyes on as she raised up her head was her birth-mother, the rightful lycan queen, Alessia Claw Wolfs eyes locked with hers. She instantly bonded with her."Great! Cassius fell for the bait. I'll take care of the watch-wolves. You two get Alessia out of here. We don't have much time before he gets back." Ryan said igniting a sword made of fire in his hand as he walked towards the lycans that were right infront of Alessia and two others.Rather than move or do anything, Elena froze up. She just stood there her eyes not leaving Alessia. Elena was the spitting image of Alessia so their relation was beyond doubts. The woman before he is truely her birth-mother. They were both speechless until Alessia broke the silence."Elena? My daughter??" Tears welled up in Alessia's eyes as she spoke
Chapter 66Garfield West ~It was all happening so fast that I found it hard to believe that it's actually in reality and not just some dream.I, a lycan? It's crazy enough that I am in a whole new world that's different from the one I grew up to know but to add to the batter, how can Sofia and Ryan come to the same conclusion that I am a lycan just because of what I told them? The rapid healing prooved them right. What's happening to me?If there's one thing I'm beginning to put my trust in concerning magic is that the pictue tends to be clearer if you just open your eyes a little more wider and believe what you see. The sooner I believe and get used to things being unbelieveable, the less confusing they'll seem. Althoygh, I have my doubts. This world has an air different from where the one I grew in. Magic must have an influence over everything here."I'm beginning to think this is a bad idea mom. If you say this Cassiu
Chapter 65Sofia Xanders ~Ryan's control over the element of fire gives us the upper foot against the lycan guards. If we happen to encounter Cassius, I'll leave the commander and his skillful vampyre warriors to distract him long enough for us to get Alessia off his clutches. It's been sixteen years since I last got involved with Cassius. I know he must have gotten stronger and more heartless than before. The flames burnt Ryan's body to ash and out of the ashes, Ryan was formed. With the same speed that the flames began regenerating Ryan, they parted till none was left. I meddled with the flames using my witch magic so Ryan could have some decent clothes one when he gets reborn."Perfect.""I don't remember you being this tall." Commander Sam alleged."Finally. I'm big again. Thanks for the clothes Soph." Ryan said checking himself out. "Now that my powers are working fine, let's go rescue Alessia from that abomination.""You can tu
Chapter 64Sofia Xanders ~I may be human but that's not going to stop me from being there for Red... Elena. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF THE COMMON MAN. Red has been my best friend for as long as I can remember. I'm not leaving her in a time she really needs me." "This must be what magic feels like? I can feel the tingly sensation at my fingertips. The blowing air makes everything look different. This would make for a great story." Charlie commented with the portal in front of him."Your turn, your Majesty." The commander reminded.Sam's irises went vampyre blue and his physique became more built."Are you going to go in or do I have to go in first?" Ryan stormed still in the cup in my hands.I walked into the portal with my eyes closed. A rush of power flowed through me as I emerged at the other end.Sixteen years ago, I was forced by circumstances to leave my mate, my beloved home world and my people as well as everything I had
Chapter 63Sofia Xanders ~"Open the barriers!" Samuel ordered with a loud voice when we had walked and are now a few paces from the statue of liberty. "Welcome, your majesty, to Blood Bank Number 20, 896.B."The magical barrier keeping the blood bank under a cloak came down and we continued walking towards the statue."I heard from a very reliable source that before you brought the trybrid child into this world, you had never set foot in it." Samuel pointed out. "If not for the reason of how urgent your mission back home is, I would have loved to show you all around the coven.""Hey, Red's mom, we have to hurry things up some more." Charlie said giving me a gentle tap on the shoulder. "We have no more than forty minutes.""Commander, I acknowledge you generous offer but however, we really need to get to the portal so if you don't mind, skip the whole introduction and just take us to it." I said with a soft tone but at the same time, m
Chapter 62Sofia Xanders ~I looked at Ryan. Even though I was worried that there's a huge possibility this isn't going to work out, I trusted his words. After all, he has been making good use of his time here in the human world well enough to know things about my own people here that I don't. Unlike me who spends every second of being here raising my best-friend's daughter.I nodded my head and changed my negative worries into positive hopes. Ryan must be right."I am here with Ryan McFlame." I shouted out. "I am here with Ryan McFlame! I am here with Ryan McFlame! The last phoenix and I am Sofia Xanders!"I stared at the waters hoping to see someone just as Ryan had said but there was no one. Gar and Charlie kept dashing worried glances at me but I had no words for them."How is she holding up?" I asked turning to Gar."She's freezing. We have to get her out of here to somewhere she won't be so cold." Gar replied adjusting the cloth
Chapter 61Elena Claw Wolfs ~"Is something wrong?" I heard my mom ask with a calm tone."No!" I replied sharply still not wanting to admit my present state of weakness.Sofia must've noticed I am taking to long to cast the spell as I usually would. I closed my eyes tighter and took a deep breath inwards. I snapped a finger against another and when I opened my eyes, I was expecting to be at Charlie's front porch but I wasn't."Just in time." I heard Charlie say resting a duffel bag behind his shoulder. The spell didn't take me to him. Instead, it brought them to me. Charlie and Gar. They were standing in the living room few paces from where we stood in better clothes and a duffel bag in each hand."Since, we're here, I presume it's either you've found what you were looking for and we're here so you can lead us to it or was this unintentional?" Gar asked putting down his duffel bag on the ground and walked up to me with his hands in hi
