Amelia's Point of View
She looked at him for a while then smiled like she was fine with it.
" Okay baby, be quick, I would be waiting for you." She said. With that, she leaned in and licked his lips slowly.
I cringed in disgust. Now I had to add that to the list of things I wish to unsee.
She shook her hips, swang them from side to side as she walked away, sending a sharp glare towards my direction.
She pushed past me, making me nearly lose my footing. I took in a shaky breath. I shouldn't be like this. Why was i scared of her? I was supposed to be formidable and not timid. What happened to the determined girl that came back to the pack?
" What were you doing on our pack borders rogue?" He asked suddenly.
The question took me by surprise, me a rogue Wolf
"Open your eyes Alpha, I was supposed to be your Luna" I said inwardly
" What?" I asked unconsciously.
He looked up, his eye brows raised.
" I don't like repeating myself twice. What were you doing on the pack borders? Were you sent by the full moon pack? Are you some sort of spy?" He asked.
My eyes widened.
" No of course not, I was not sent by any pack. I don't even know which pack bears the name full moon. I had no idea I was on your pack borders and I really appreciate you taking me in" I said, trying to sound as firm and respectful as I could.
It seemed to work because he looked up at me with an amused look.
" Then what pack are you from?" He asked, his eyes still holding distrust.
I swallowed. From a young age I had always been a pathetic liar. And although I knew I had to lie, I was unsure just how much of the lies he would buy. Quickly, my brain formulated a story.
" I'm a werewolf but my parents had lived among the humans ever since I was born. My mum told me stories about werewolves but I knew none and we were the only kind among humans. However they died and living became very hard. I ran into the woods when I got into a big fight with some humans. I had no idea I was trespassing. I'm very sorry" I said, feigning tears.
He looked at me for a while.
" I'm willing to take you into my wings and make you one of the pack members. But, you will and must pledge your allegiance to this pack and you would report to me and me alone." He said.
" Okay alpha. Does that mean I won't work with the Luna any longer?" I asked, a small joy bubbling in my insides.
" No, you will continue to work with the Luna as her maid, but you will always report to me" he said.
I looked at him in confusion. Why was he so adamant on keeping me close. I hated this idea. It would probably blow up in my face and distrupt my laid out plans. But I knew I couldn't argue with him.
I smiled softly and nodded.
He stared at me for a while, looking at me with suspicion.
" There is something about you that I just can't place. You feel so familiar. Have we met?" He asked.
I froze, my tongue sticking to my throat.
" No...no I don't believe we have" I said, controlling myself from stammering and giving him something to go on and on about. He looked at me for a while now, before nodding his head and gesturing for me to leave.
I walked out quickly, my legs barely touching the ground as I closed his door. Finally, I let out the breath i had been holding since he mentioned knowing me.
I breathed deeply. It was all right. All i had to do was figure out what the woman in my dreams meant when she said my destiny was in this pack.
As I turned the corner, I slipped, falling and hitting my head hard on the floor.
A pair of shoes stood, looking down at me with a smile on her face.
The smile quickly turned to a frown on disgust as her eyes met mine.
" Get up" The Luna said, hovering above me.
I whimpered softly, not wanting her to see how much pain I was in.
I got up, my legs shaking as I stood in front of her.
"Luna, I did not see you there" I said, bowing down, trying desperately to not look her in the eye.
" What's your deal?" She asked, her hands folded across her chest.
" Ma?" I asked pretending not to understand what she meant.
" Are you deaf? I'm asking what precisely you want." She said shoving me into a corner.
" I just want a roof over my head Luna" I said, making my voice sound pathetic.
I knew just how much people like her loved watching other grovel and beg. I was at her mercy now, but it won't be for long.
" Really? You show up and start trying to kiss up to the feet of the alpha? Now I don't know who you are or who sent you, but darling, I would have you know that he is mine and mine alone. And if you think you can waltz in here and shake your pretty head to get what I worked for, you best be ready for it to bite you in the cheek " she said.
I nearly snickered. It was laughable because she thought i was interested in Cida?
I wanted to tell her how much I wanted to shove a knife deep into his stomach and watch him cough out blood. I bet her face would be hilarious if I did. This made me smile.
She looked at me in anger.
" You think it's funny huh?" She asked. With that, she slammed my head into the wall, over and over.
I bit my lips and and reined my wolf in. I wanted nothing but to pin her to the floor and dish out blows into her perfect little face.
She finally stopped, looking at me.
" Know your place. Or I would teach you how to know it" she said, stepping past me as she walked away.
Dorian's Point of ViewIt was the third pack I searched, looking for her. As I packed up my things to leave the pack and head to the nearest pack, the alpha's daughter came in.I had stayed in the crest filled pack for a week and it seemed that the alpha's only daughter had taken a particular liking to me. I did not encourage this of course. She did not stop even though I told her the main purpose of my being there was to look for my mate who was is missing. She had not relented, always throwing sultry looks and randomly touching me. It was all uncomfortable for me, but I felt there was no harm done as long as I did not reciprocate. After all, the crest filled pack was a very powerful pack, and making an enemy of the pack would be a disastrous thing to do.That was until she came into my room in only a robe.As I heard the door open, I immediately turned around. No one had ever walked into the room, especially without knocking. The alpha had graciously given me enough of my space and
Dorian's Point of ViewFlashback from days back before I began the search for AmeliaI was just healing from being poisoned in the bush where I went in search of Amelia who went missing. She had allegedly missed her way after being sent on an errand by his beta. I found her only after i fell on a tree branch that was laced with poison by who God knows.I didn't know why I was feeling restless this particular day, maybe it was because of boredom, but I felt really restless and i was just staring at my ceiling all dayI needed to stand up from this bed and do something.Preferably talk to Amelia.I was slowly getting obsessed with her, I was very much aware of the fact that I was supposed to distance myself from her. That she was right and that the relationship we shared had a very dark past, but I was like a moth being drawn to a flame. The circumstances surrounding our past was not so bright and I intend to take it slow and gain her complete trust. She was going to be my second chance

Amelia's Point of viewWhen I was still in the pack, the beta had to be part of the top five people I disliked. He was a sneaky, perverted man who took delightful pleasure in watching me beg him to leave me alone. The assaults happened all of a sudden. I clearly remember the first time.he touched me. I was around sixteen, I was bruised and battered up from the series of beatings that the pack members had inflicted on me.As I laid there, trying to regain enough strength to get up, he had walked up to me, a smirk on his face." You little murderer, what are you crying about? You should be glad we are merciful enough to let you live" he snarled at me.I just laid there, too tired to defend myself and explain to them that I was still mourning the loss of both my parents." You can't talk huh? I will teach you to respond when I talk to you" he said, walking towards me menacingly. No one was around me then, the whole pack house was silent. Everyone had gone to the festival happening outsid
Amelia's Point of ViewI just knew I was in trouble as I got back into the room. The sleeping beauty was awake, staring at the ground in anger as she sat on the bed.All the maids were lined up, heads bowed as they looked at me in fright, their eyes telling me to hurry up and join them.I swallowed. What was the matter now?None of them dared to explain anything to me, their heads still bowed as they waited whatever punishment she had in mind for their sins." I wake up, expecting to see my maids all lined up and ready for the day. You have one job but you can't even do it right. I'm not asking for the moon, I'm just asking for you to be here when I wake up. And yet, little miss here decided that gallivanting around the mansion owned by MY mate was the best thing to do. Honestly the disrespect is appaling. You don't even respect me enough to obey me?" She asked. It was then I figure out I was the cause of all this.I looked up. That was my second mistake." Erica's Point of View I sat on the plush sofa, gently sipping the bloody Mary that I ordered. The best place to meet for every shady business was at a club house packed full with sweaty teens and guys that just wanted a good time.I love this particular club a little too much. Perhaps it was because they made one hell of a sumptuous Mary or probably because there was always a sweaty teenager to take out my anger on. It was the plus side of every club in the human world. It amazed me sometimes, just how gullible these people were. They were so powerless, no molecule of strength in them, yet they lived life so frivolously like they have nine lives. It was none of my business anyways. They were a bunch of no gooders and I was just a very pissed off werewolf. If there was anything I upheld, it was punctuality. I hated the concept of arriving just in time for a meeting of five minutes after a meeting already began. But obviously, Derek did not share the same ideas and thoughts with me b
Derek's Point of ViewAs she stood up to leave, I finally felt free from the burden of having to deal with her. She was too much, always prancing about the place like she was Lord over me.If only she knew that the only reason she was still alive was because I just have not figured out yet who she was and why she disliked Dorian so much.I did not care much though, any one who dislikes Dorian enough to destroy him and his stupid ego was my friend. But somehow, her motives being unknown to me made me feel on edge for some reasons. Not many girls dislikws Dorian. To them, he was the perfect man. I had my guys look into her but everything drew up flat. It was like she never had a record.Evelyn wolverine seemed not to exist. But I knew there was just something about her I could not place. I had been in the company of Dorian ever since he was a child and I knew and kept account of every single woman he knew. But not her...The thought alone upset me, making me feel like punching a hole in
She took a deep breath, her eyes snapping open. The pool was calm, its reflective mirror of the moon's glow unbroken. Aurora was not. She could feel it. The power that lay within her was no longer latent. It was alive, humming with energy, the essence of White Luna. She looked at Selene, her eyes shining with sudden understanding. "I… I think I understand."Selene's face erupted into a warm smile."The way has just been opened, Aurora. There is much to learn, much to prepare you for. But you will not be doing it alone. I will be here, every step along the way."Aurora's heart was a tempest of the expectation and terror that battled within it. She was a goddess, a new White Luna. Her journey would be challenging, but giving up was not an option. The weight of a new life was heavy on Aurora, more heavily even than any material weight. She was the White Luna, a goddess reborn. Her mind was heavy with the words, a reminder of just how great a weight was on her shoulders. She looked at her
Those words hung heavily in the empty garden, alone-an affront to all she had ever conditioned to understand about the world. She was an Omega, the lowest one to exist within the pack, born to take orders and not give them. This… this could not be. And yet, visions, power flowing through her veins, Selene's presence here-everything screamed for a truth she could not help but believe."Preparations?" she managed to croak with a throat parched and raspy. "For what?"Selene's visage became unbroken. "For war coming. The war you saw earlier. One to raze not your pack alone but all the packs. A war unlike any other."Her mind was a wild knot of possibilities. The rumors of the Thane of Redblood-whispers of another foe-it fit together all too sickly. This, however, was not a pack war; this was a war against something older and far more evil than anything imaginable. Survival war."But..but I am just myself," she stammered without faith in herself, helplessly waving her hands. "I know nothin

A pack that's looking for allies to take us down."A slow, dangerous growl built in my chest.Grim, who had been leaning against the far wall, pushed off and walked forward. “And you’re sure they were talking about us?”James nodded. "Yeah. The way they spoke about it… Seems like some kind of personal vendetta that's gotten out of hand. Whoever this is, he's getting ready for something."I balled my fists. Of course. I swore softly. "Can he prove it?""No," James said. "But he's watching me close. If I make one wrong move, I'm dead."I blew out a sharp breath. "You need to be careful. If you're exposed, Thane won't just kill you--he'll use you as proof that we've been meddling in his affairs."James nodded. "I know."I watched him for a moment. He had done well, but the risk was going up. "For now, maintain your cover. Thane sent you to spy on us, so keep him with just enough information to satisfy him—but nothing to place us at a disadvantage."James smirked. "Of course, Alpha."I stood, letting out a sigh. "War is coming, James. We must prepare for it."James nodded "So what do I tell him exactly about the Lena that never showed up?"I thought long and hard before answering "Tell him the truth. She's not here and Malik is still here.""Yes Alpha-"Then I smirked "Also let him know that we're not the only ones that have enemies.""I understand perfectly Alpha" he replied. He was about to leave wh
Grim crept in, his voice reduced to a whisper. "Don’t play this down. I've watched you fight, your technique. You're too smooth, too polished. You're no rogue, no vagabond, Robert. You're something else."A cold sweat erupted on my brow. Grim was not letting this go. I needed to deflect him, and quickly.I forced a laugh, attempting carefreeness. "You're sore because I beat you, Grim," I exclaimed, attempting teasing. "I assure you, I'm a humble warrior attempting to make a name for himself."He still didn't look convinced."Listen, Grim, assuming I'm a spy, don't you think I'd be stupid to taunt one of the most powerful brutes in this pack?" I protested, my best shot at sounding logical.I just wanted him to let go of the thought that I was a spy. Even one suspicious person could ruin my plans. The eyes of Grim turned in my direction long enough, then finally, flicked away. He then said with an emotionless expression but a threatening and killing, low voice."I have my eye out for yo
Thane’s POVIt had been more than a week, both Lena and Malik hadn’t return. I understand that Malik is quite playful but Lena is uptight. I should know, since I trained her for years. She wasn’t someone that could be easily defeated. I slammed my fist on my desk multiple times, the sound echoing through the room. “Cida, that insufferable pain in the neck” just kept getting under my skin.I never really wanted to pay attention to him but he was always challenging me. The first time he tried to destroy my relationship with other packs, then he took my spot at the convergence. He belittled me over and over again.I called for Robert, one of our newly admitted pack members. He was a skilled rogue, ruthless and quick. I just needed him to check the situation at Redblood pack. “Robert, my commander says you’re on par with some of my soldiers and you’re better than most. I have a task for you” I said.James’ POVI had been here for a while, I pretended to be a nonchalant rogue before they c
I pushed the door open, and the hinges shrieked loud in the silence. The air inside was stale, thick with magic. Around the walls, rows of shelves lined them, filled with jars of all things from dried herbs to bones and other things unidentifiable.Arachne herself was standing at the center of the room, commanding and terrifying."Ah, the Beta," she said, dripping mockery into the words. "How predictable."I took another step closer, hands fisting at my sides. "So you're the cause of all this? What do you intend?"Arachne smiled, her mouth curling sweet. "Questions, so many of them. Never you mind. All your answers will be supplied in due time."She turned her hand out to me, and my chest became wrapped in thick, turgid air weighing invisibly on my skin."You'll do one thing for me," she announced, cold-voiced to the final degree. "Go home and tell him the game begins. I never get refused."And in one twitch of the wrist, I was swallowed into the darkness.Derek's POVHours later, Bol
Bolton's POVThe scent was insistent, a bright line laced through the dark brocade of the forest. Moonlight seeped through the canopy high above, slashed in scattered rays on the forest floor. Every step forward was like taking a step deeper within the waiting jaws of something unseen. The smell of the Moonbloom now blew up stronger, thicker, almost miasma, tinged with some darker undercurrent, a nasty metallic tang right on the edges that put me on edge. My wolf growled. His voice low in my mind came as a rumble of concern."This is not right," he said shortly, his tones clipped.I know, I breathed, my voice barely audible. My gaze whipped between trees, peering for motion, a glimpse of anything—the creature or worse, whatever was beyond. It was as if one part of nature was alive, breathing onto me from every corner. Whispers rode the wind down the passage, pricking the back of my neck. Shadows danced on the edge of my vision, always out of reach, and the trees looming closer, it see
