Chapter 27: The Birthday Party

2024-10-29 19:42:56The minute she hears “Surprise.” She turns to me and smiles. Rushing inside, she scans the room before turning back to me and gazing into my eyes. I feel her fingers run up my chest and then she reaches for my neck. Wrapping her arms around my neck, she pulls me down and kisses me quickly before releasing me and whispering, “Thank you.”
As she turns around, I watch her body move and sway while it bounces up and down happily. Turning around again, she stares into my eyes and asks, “How did you remember my birthday? When we first met, I happen to mention it was just a couple weeks away and that was it.”
Smiling, I lean down and kiss her again before stating, “It was easy. I did a little research of my own and I have many resources that normal people wouldn’t. I am a king after all.” Still smiling, I take ahold of her hand and twirl her around as the music begins.
