Chapter 101: Revelations pt. 1

I followed Beau a few miles deeper into the forest, unsure where he was leading me.

There weren’t any places to hide out here since we’d defeated the Blood Eclipse Pack. Their pack members who joined Silver Eclipse gave up all their secret hiding spots, and Jericho had also reported all of his little nooks and crannies that he’d used to hide in plain sight.

Most of them weren’t worth concealing, so we just abandoned them, but now that I’m out hear following Beau to whatever spot he thinks will be safe, I’m second guessing how all of that was handled.

He stopped in a somewhat open area, next to a cluster of trees. Is this the entrance to another hideout, I wondered to myself as I examined the group of trees that were obviously too close together.

Beau turned his back to the cluster of trees and faced a tall skinny sapling just behind me. After tapping a rhythm, he began drawing a pattern on the tree with his middle finger before wrapping his hand around the small truck an
