Luke's POV

Our steps pounded on the cold, rough stone floor, creating a thrilling rhythm. The tower loomed before us, a majestic monument that now looked like a menacing fortress. Our hearts pounded with a mixture of tension and hope. The black-robed figure that had disrupted our lives was now nearby, and we couldn't let him escape again.

Upon arriving at the tower, my troops and I were stunned. The figure we were looking for had disappeared, like the morning mist disappearing into the sunlight. Frustration swept through my mind. "Assemble and search for him!" I shouted, my voice echoing off the cold tower walls. "I'll check on Elder Jack's condition."

Determined, I rushed towards the prison. This prison, where I kept Elder Jack locked up, always felt eerie. The heavy iron door rattled as I opened it, and pitch blackness greeted me. The darkness seemed to have a life of its own, wrapping me in panic and loneliness.
