Her husband was hugging another woman. This shattered her trust into pieces. Even after everything, she never questioned him because her love was greater than the doubt. And that's what she got in return? Her husband had another woman in his arms.

Feeling someone's eyes on him, Daniyal raised his head and saw Hafsa looking at him. Her hazel eyes clash against his black eyes.

"Hafsa!" He whispered when saw tears in her beautiful eyes.

The girl in arms raised her head confusingly to look at him, then turn to look where he was looking at. Shock plastered over her face when saw Hafsa outside of their ward.

Hafsa didn't wait another second and left

"Hafsa! Hafsa! Hafsa, Please, Please, listen to me." Daniyal ran after her, calling her name.

But Hafsa Siddiqui didn't stop for him. She used to love her name from his lips, whenever he calls her, she feels as if she could give him her life if he would ask. But today, she only felt disgust.

They came outside of the hospital.

Daniyal also ran after her calling out her name. They came outside the parking lot.

"HAFSA!" She heard Daniyal's scream. The last thing she saw was a car which was coming at her with over speed.

•••

She felt as if someone is pounding her head. She tried to move her hand but couldn't, they felt heavy.

She opened her eyes, but as soon as the light hit her eyes, she shut them tightly, her head started spinning with sudden light.

Taking few deep breaths, she once again opened her eyes, slowly.

She was still confused about where she was or what happened.

She tried to get up when someone stopped her and put their arms over her shoulder.

"Lay down, ma'am, you are still very weak." This voice belongs to a lady. Hafsa looked at her left side and saw a young lady looking at her with concern.

"What.. What happened?" Hafsa manages to whisper with bee sore throat. She felt as if she hadn't drink water since years.

The lady understands it and made her drink some water.

"Are you okay, Mrs. Malik?" The lady, who was maybe a nurse, asked.

As if the question brought all the memories of what happened.

"My baby? Where is my baby? How is my baby?" Hafsa got alarmed and asked.

"Calm down, Mrs. Malik, your baby is perfectly fine." Nurse informed her.

"Your baby is with doctor for checkup." She further add when saw the crease between Hafsa's eyebrows didn't loosen up.

Hafsa took a relief breath and thanked her Allah. "It is a boy or girl?" She again turned to the nurse, who was nor going through some medicines.

"It is a.." Nurse raised her head to answer her when the door of the ward opened. Making for both Hafsa and Nurse turned there.

He looked tired, as if hadn't slept for days, his messy hair falling on his head and his stubble untrimmed. Even in this state, he looked charming as he hold the baby in his arms.

"What he is doing here?" But this time, Hafsa's heart didn't flutter at the sight, she only felt anger.

"Hafsa, At least listen to me..." Daniyal took some steps in and begged her. But Hafsa looked at the other side.

"Nurse, tell him to leave."

Daniyal took a defeated breath out, this was not the right time to talk to her. Giving the baby to the nurse, he left.

Hafsa stayed at the hospital for one more week, and not for once did she let Daniyal enter her room.

But he was always outside of the ward, she heard it from nurses, he would come to her room when thought she is sleeping, he would hold her hand and would laye his head on the bed while sitting on the chair. Hafsa wanted him to say something to her but he never said anything.

•••

Hafsa was laying on her bed, covered in comforter and her baby girl beside her.

"Hafsa, You didn't have your breakfast yet??" Daniyal came there and asked her.

"I don't feel like having it," Hafsa mumbled, patting her daughter's chest.

"Hafsa!" Hafsa felt the dip on the bed, Daniyal just sat beside her.

"You are not well. You just got discharged from hospital."

This made Hafsa looked at him with sharp gaze, as if asking now he cares?

Daniyal understands her unasked question.

"Hafsa, I..." He started saying but Hafsa interrupted him.

"I'll have my breakfast when I will feel okay." She said, rudely.

"Don't take my anger out on food." Lovingly, Daniyal held her hand. Which Hafsa snatched away.

"Daniyal, I've already state that I am not hungry. I will have my breakfast when I'll feel like it." Hafsa was adamant.

"Hafsa," Daniyal made his voice stern. "I will not ask you again but if you want to know the truth just have your breakfast. I have to take you somewhere."
