First Logan thought to ask her but then he didn't because if Logan would talk to her, she would start calling him like a mad girl. That's why Logan dropped the idea of asking her anything and went out so that he would be a little comfortable.

Logan didn't like Sharlett's condition after all she was his close friend, he felt bad for her, and once he tried to feel for her, just for her happiness but he felt very bad and failed to feel any kind of love towards her.

Logan was also very upset when he lost his closest friend but he was forced to cut all links with her otherwise she would get hurt a lot and Logan never wanted to hurt her.
