Chapter 27 – Finally Home

Mr. Hunt. Ronnie called out. We will be landing in about thirty minutes. He said clearing the plates and glasses. I reached over and buckled Reign’s seatbelt; she was out in a very deep sleep. The doctor gave her some strong muscle relaxers to help with pain and to help her relax for the flight back home, my home, our home. She still hadn’t woken up by the time we landed and were ready to get off the plane. Give me a just a few more minutes, please. She whined. I chuckled and picked her up and carried her bridal style to the waiting car that will be taking us to the helipad.

It would be another hour and then we would finally be home. When we landed my parents were waiting for us, we used two helicopters to get us back to the village.
