My Mate Part 2

Grace POV

Gasping for air as I reach the front of the academy I take in as much air as possible as I head for the woods where I usually go to train myself for when I leave the pack, as you may not know the pack outer borders were littered with rogues that had gone mad after abandoning or being forced to leave their packs making them aggressive and no longer sane enough to comprehend that they were hurting other wolves in the area. This was the only thing I trained for because I would have to fight for a chance to live amongst the humans, a chance of freedom forever from this pack, I was walking for what felt like forever, however, I failed to notice that someone was following me all this time, it didn't dawn on me till I heard rustling and even a groan from the bushes as I stopped to look who it was my heart beat fast inside my chest it felt like it were to leap out of my chest and into the forest ground, I tried to calm my heartbeat down so that way they could not sense my fear but I could not help the gasp that I heaved out when it was him again! 

"Why are you following me? Did I anger you in some other form? If I did I apologize!" I say as I walk backward keeping an eye on him as he starts walking towards me with a very stern look on his face, he seemed agitated more so than he was in the academy...had my arousal upset him that much that he was going to punish me? I began to think of ways to escape, forget my birthday plan I needed to get out of here NOW! With or without Cherry, I turn and sprint through the small path that would lead me out to the open terrain that would not be protected by any alpha, it was where the rogues roamed on the lands and I knew that my training was not complete but that this very moment it was either stay and be punished brutally or leave and live a life of peace for once, I snapped out of my thoughts when a bone-chilling growl was heaved loudly behind me and my footsteps quickened as my legs and feet carried me faster than before, I was fighting bushes that had thorns that were scrapping my arms and face and legs as my feet didn't stop and kept moving me out of reach from this angry man who seemed to be super adamant of dealing out his punishment to me. I could hear huffing as I look up to see that he is now running directly at me and I am confused at how he got in front of me without me noticing him, I stop in my tracks as I pivot and change directions going around him causing him to slip and slide trying to catch the thin fabric of my jacket as I dart out of his reach another growl could be heard leaving him as my pace quickened and I push past the remaining bushes and out into hostile territory, silence is all that could be heard and snarling is what breaks that silence as pain ripples through me as a warm sensation runs down my arm as my body goes numb and my vision becomes blury, everything goes mute as i fall to the ground but feel nothing as my face bounces from the force that my body applies when I fall, my vision was blurry and my hearing was gone at this point as I watch a large Silver wolf is fighting off so many rogues that are trying to get to me as I watch them fall one by one like leaves my vision is partial lost in my left eye as I fight to stay awake, a familiar scent hits me as tears brim my eyes as panic sets in. 

as chills ran down my spine my wolf cried out the words I feared most... MATE! My body becomes laxed as darkness overtakes me.
