Angels POV

As Henrik began to chant, I watched as my entire body began to fade. Closing my eyes, I pictured Jake standing there in all his glory using him to calm the ball of nerves that formed in my stomach at the thought of them dealing with the new threat without me. As I felt my feet touch the ground, I opened my eyes. I was standing in my office, Rose sitting at my desk her eye’s fixed on me.

“Welcome back Luna” her tone one of an unimpressed mother.

“Rose” I nodded my head in return.

“Was it worth it, running off like a child throwing a temper tantrum all because you couldn’t handle something”

“Rose, your clearly upset with how I handled the finding of my Aunt Marie. But may I remind you that I am the Luna of this pack, the mate of your son. You will talk to me with respect”
