Vastria and Remus in the limo finally reached his family’s estate. They passed through the black high metal gate as it opened for them and closed behind them. They drove up a hill to the house. Vastria looked out the window to se the scenery. The yard was surrounded by high rock walls with vines crawling up the walls. Guards were posted at the entrances to the estate. The estate was like an open yard, lushed with greenery. The mansion at the center was a castle. It looked nearly like a medieval times castle with history.
Vastria was shown to her new living quarters for the weekend being led by Remus. The corridor they took was darkened. Small lamps posted on the walls did not give much light. The lights flickered as if it were candles, but it was indeed electric powered. She could not see the portraits on the wall clearly with the lighting as they passed a few on the way to their suite. The corridor was long and there were no other doors as they walked down the corridor. Remus opened the door to the joint suite. Inside was a co
Vastria woke the next morning a bit confused. She sat up fast in her bed looking around before remembering where she was. The air in the room was cool to the touch, but not overwhelmingly cold for a castle. She stretched as she gets up out of bed looking at the gift box, she removed from the bed earlier. She picked it up and sat it on the bed next to her. She wondered what could be inside. She slowly undid the ribbon and took off the lid. Inside was a lovely white dress. Victorian designed dress with a corset. She took it out of the box to examine it further when an envelope fell out of it. She then laid the dress upon the bed and picked the envelope off the floor. The envelope only had her name on it, so she opened to read the letter. The letter was from Mrs. Lily Rosenburg, Remus’ mother. The letter read:I was so happy to finally meet you my beloved new daughter. I know you do not have a mother to ask for assistance and I hope to be that help when it comes to planning your weddin
Remus took Vastria to his mother’s rose garden. She at first wanted to look around the castle as she looked for the rose garden, but unfortunately, their discussions over her creative writing took longer than expected. They were not able to get around the topic of Remus himself. The two were at the garden entrance when behind them, Remus was called away by his father. Vastria was left alone.
Vastria wondered the corridors searching her way back to her joint suite. she passed several closed rooms. The corridors seemed to all look the same. She was able to make it to the main room where the dragon statue stood after a couple of hours of walking then made it to her joint suite. In front of the door to her suite stood a vampire, male, dressed in blue jeans and a pictured t-shirt she could not make out. Soon as she got closer the vampire shied back a step frightened.
Vastria looked out the window as the limo pulled up at the blood facility that Remus wanted to inspect. She thought the place seemed familiar. The facility was a one-story building of concrete that appeared to be crumbling apart, but it was intact. By what she could see in the dark light of the setting sun, the walls of the building were crusted with old paint that seemed to have been white but now brown and red from dirt and rust. The windows of the facility were blackened. No greenery grew around the building, only red dirt and weeds overgrown on the sides crawling onto the walls of the building.
Remus stopped in his tracks and turned his attention to the two vampires before himself and Vastria. He stood a bit in front of her to protect her. He was furious with the tone of voice that interrupted his conversation with Vastria. He gleamed at the vampire who spoke, the one with a mohawk, but the two vampires seemed to ignore his presence. They glowered at Vastria as she looked at them surprised with their outburst.“You fucking demon cunt should not have shown your face here. We will finish you here a
Remus knocked on the glass door startling the vampire inside who turned pale as he looked up to find Remus standing at the office door. The vampire stood up and let us in. The office floor was barren with no one else on the floor or working in the cubicles of desks. The floor stretched out throughout the whole floor with enough space in each cubicle for fit a few people in. The spacing between the cubicles gave privacy. Vastria tried to count how many cubicles as she entered the room, but she could not get the
It was a long night as Remus and Vastria got back to the castle. They spent nearly the whole night there. As they pulled up in front of the castle, Vastria was already fast asleep laid across the seats in the limo. The sun slowly peeked through the mountains as the limo halted. Remus looked to Vastria who was still fast asleep. He thought about waking her up but decided against it. He took her in his arms and ordered the others to unload the boxes and take it up to
Where are you? Vastria asked Remus telepathically. Vastria looked around for Remus passing the entrance to the bar room on the vampire side. I am in the bar room with a few guests. Want to help me get out of here? I could use the help.
“Welcome everyone to tonight’s banquet. Why all the long faces? Come now. After tonight, our two nations will be joined in a truce agreement. It is a time for celebrations. Please mingle and eat to your hearts content.” Remus’ father came walking to Vastria, his son and lady Arnenas. Vastria’s father followed him. “Agreed. Please everyone, enjoy the night. after tonight the demon realm will be working with the vampire nation. Tonight, w
Vastria stared at herself in the mirror sighing. Remus waited for her at the stairs, but she was not ready. She was nervous. She knew that tonight would be a difficult night. A full banquet with vampires, demons, and werewolves all joined together. She could hear small orchestra music coming from downstairs. It was music that she was never into, but it was music that was appropriate for the occasion. She sighed again looking at herself before leaving her room. She made su
“Do I really need to wear a dress?” Vastria asked as her room was filled with dresses for her to choose from. They were sent to her by Remus’ mother. He came with every delivery she sent except this last dress deliver. For the past few days, his mother sent her dresses, and she did not like any of them. She did not care for dresses. “Lady Vastria, this is a banquet after all. You must wear a dress.” Elcid was spreading out the dresses before her on the clothing racks. “Do you
Elcid rushed back to the mansion after leaving Meagan at the park. She knew she would be fine on her own to get back to her apartment or where she was staying that night. It was lucky her informant found her before she was taken by the rogue vampires. She could not use a demon portal, but she was able to speed run to her car parked a few blocks away. As she drove home, she decided to send her lady a message to update her.
I cannot believe I did that. My parents have disowned me, and my pack banished me because I tried to reason with them about Vastria.I personally trust everything about Vastria, but those wretched demons. They literally sold her to the vampires. Vile wretched vampires that is going to use her.
The demon portal opened up at the center of the garden where the pond was. Vastria’s father and his servants waited for their return. Her father pacing clearly angered. He stopped as he saw the portal and waited. Remus stepped out, then Vastria and Elcid close behind. The demon portal of black mist dispersed soon as they exited the portal. Vastria’s father did not know what to say at first. He had many thoughts, but seeing her daughter finally back brought relief. He sighed and walked to his daughte
As Vastria started to say her farewells to Meagan’s parents and the elders, she felt a pull on her mind. Where are you?She knew who it was. What do you mean, Remus? The others around her did not know why she fell silent all of a sudden. They watched her questioning. They were not sure if they should interrupt, but Elcid knew what could have been going on. “Please excuse my lady Vastria. She just received a message via telepathy.” They looked to Elcid as she tried to apologize
Mishna and Astar led Vastria and Elcid to the center of the village. All the wolves were gathered there. As they reached, the wolves turned and stared at them, at Vastria and Elcid. They did not understand why demons were there that night. Three elderly werewolves were at the most center sitting down. Soon as they saw them, they stood up. They were discouraged. They heard about two demons being in the village but did not believe it until they saw Vastria and Elcid. Astar and Mishna brought Vastria and Elcid dir
