"You are not Gael" she whispered to the stranger who was standing outside her door. He peered at her with his huge crystal-white eyes.

"Mother," the boy repeated, causing Ashina to stare at him while wondering what was happening.

She hadn't seen the boy who was standing in front of her before and she was having a hard time trying to remember where exactly she had seen him.

She racked her brain as hard as she could but still, she couldn't get anything right, she didn't know where she had seen him and she wasn't sure if she had seen him.

"Why are you here? And who sent you here?" She asked the little boy who pouted his lips at her before bursting into tears.

She blinked her eyes as she tried to recall what she had done to warrant him crying this hard but she couldn't.

She squatted down, patting the boy gently on his cheek.

"Mother" the boy called out to her again, Ashina was at a loss for what to do. She didn't know what to do.

One of the assailants, who he presumed to be the head, walked closer to him with a smirk on his face."You are all alone here and although I was given instructions not to touch you, I am tempted to pierce this dagger through her throat and that will be all it will take to cause you pain," a glint flashed through his eyes, one which annoyed Hrolf.
