"You took a job making deliveries, and now you're working as a cleaner? Are you trying to piss me off? You, of all people, Celia?" Emma exclaimed, her voice so loud that it drew gazes from those around us. Even the lemon-flavored water in the glass she was holding shook a little.

"Keep your voice down! That's not the point right now, okay?" I retorted with a roll of my eyes. Out of everything I'd just informed her, the focus should be on the fact that Edgar cheated on me. I needed her to look into Irina and the owner of the apartment Irina was currently staying in.
