Chapter 108: The Death Squabble

Suddenly the commotion stopped as Elvira appeared in front of them, shortly after which Dylan and his wife Emma also appeared.

"Tell me quickly! Why are you making such a fuss in the middle of the night?" asked Elvira angrily.

"Grandma, it's... it's... outside, there are two large sacks, which someone seems to have deliberately dumped in our yard," Christine replied stammeringly.

"Sacks? What did they contain?" asked Elvira curiously.

"I don't know, Gran. I just saw from the window, not far from the direction of my room, two sacks were lying there," Christine replied irritably.

"Then let's go outside, Dylan; you lead the way," Elvira ordered firmly.

"Yes, Mum," Dylan replied obediently.

After the front door opened, Dylan went outside to check the situation. Although it was brightly lit, there was a very spooky atmosphere around the house.

After checking for a while, Dylan didn't find any threats that endangered them, so he called for everyone to catch up with him.
