I went to his mother’s house at last and Cathy came and sat beside me holding my hand, listening quietly while I tried to explain my complex emotions.

Gently Cathy said, “You make it all too complicated Carmen. There is only one question for you to answer for yourself. “Do you want to go with him or not?”
