421 - On the way to the café

Jai and Darrion hung around the place for a short while. Shoru was being fussy that Jai left her, so they were trying to make her calm down.

She instantly hid under Jai's scarf when he held her again, and she didn't want to go anywhere. Even if Jai pulled her down, she would be noisy and insisted on hiding there. So he stopped trying.

Since they weren't in a hurry, Darrion managed to squeeze in some mail delivery with Raul while Jai helped with listing the letters that checked in. It was an ordinary morning compared to yesterday. There was no robbery or anything. They were short staffed because four of them had to help in the celebration day, but nothing they couldn't handle. And with Darrion helping them around the neighborhood, they could manage just fine.

They left an hour before the clock strikes mid day. Jai didn't think Shoru would appreciate the dash after her scare, so he insisted they walk to the café rather than dashing there with Darrion's wind
