039 - Red-head Stranger

Jai left the stage as per the committee's instructions, leaving assortment of cheers in his wake. Bartos, his opponent, had been rendered unconscious and was already wheeled out from the arena.

Jai didn't know where the guards were taking him, but he didn't care. He won that round. But he didn't feel satisfied at all. He was hoping that guy would realize his mistake, but apparently, in the end, the guy did not.

'Thankfully I didn't give him a fatal blow. If I meet him again, I'll make sure he apologize properly.' Jai noted that mentally. The little spark inside him twitched after he said that, as if agreeing. 

Then Jai received a pat on the shoulder.

"That, was, amazing, Jai," Darrion said.

"Thanks, I guess..." Jai shrugged his shoulders, and then he said, "I don't feel like winning, though."
