"Why are you on your knees?"
"Praying, asking God to get your ass here and help me," Solana said to her. Nerissa scoffed, Solana's attitude is sharp but she can deal with it. Blair grunted and looked at Nerissa.
"Delvaux," she said. Having Nerissa in the battled field doesn't mean the assurance that they'll win. Nerissa knows spells more compared to Blair, but Blair has the mana needed, after all, Blair is an amateur but powerful. A novice necromancer like her tends to seek help but she refused, so she practices them all by herself.
"Wher did you sent them?" Solana asked. Nerissa countered Blair's blood boil giving her a minor shockwave in her brain to make her lose focus.
"You know," said Nerissa. Solana get up and covered her body with the shawl that Nerissa bought. She didn't really think that Solana would shift but she brought one just in case.
"Well, what do we do?"
"We are not going to fight, that's for sure,"
"Then we ru
Juls is lying down chained. Illac and Elliot just came in with Blair and Foire by their arms. They look like they've been in and out of hell. Juls looked at them one by one and smirked. No one in the supernatural border can deal with that kind of damage. Illac is unscratched, but Foire isn't. Juls knows in one look what happened to Foire's arms. It is almost torn off, Solana sure is not one to feel sorry for her prey. "So you've met my Alpha," Juls said chuckling. Illac is in a full mood right now because of Blair's little disobedience. He put Blair's unconscious body on the couch and walk upon Juls. He levelled with I'm looking directly in his eyes. Juls felt inferior before him and broke the eye contact. Illac did not say a word and left Juls alone. They made Blair kidnapped him to capture Solana but Foire wanted to fight her, he doesn't want to take that away from his brother. "What are we going to do with them?" Elliot asked pointing at Foire's and Blair's uncons
"I can't picture them coming out of my fingertips!" Kiera said frustratingly. Solana grunted, she has been teaching Kiera how to pull her claws out. As for a human not too long ago, being a werewolf doesn't look like it's a big deal for Kier. She has been taking all the events pretty well including the fact that they were almost eaten by a bunch of ghouls. Solana showed Kier how to trigger it. All this time she was only telling her to try and picture it coming out of her fingertips and never actually showed her how. Kier learns visually, it was a good uptake for someone who hasn't been a werewolf for a long time. "You should have done that earlier," Nerissa said to Solana. She's trying to find where Foire and Illac is, the way they were headed when they left Imperio was west, meaning it's either Daemoniom or Satan, but based on the fact that they have Julian, Gehena is pretty much a place where they should look first. "Did you find them already?" Solana asked
Illac is back in their place at Satan alone. He needs to talk to Kala before Foire sees him and decides to kill his one and only blood. Dramatic? No, they have done it before, tried to kill each other because they don't agree with one another. he sat down and crossed his legs while massaging his temple. He is looking stressed because of what Kala wants. Hendrix inside the border? That can't just happen. He closed his eyes and held his head up, just how is he going to convince Kala? "Ah, this is such a pain in the ass," he said frustratingly. He shouldn't have let Solana walk away but... "Her body is just..." he said and moaned a little. His perverted mind got the best of him. He thought that letting Solana walk away would make her be a little grateful towards him and maybe have a little something to spice things up but Solana is not interested in romance, not even a bit. "Crossing humanity's border would be hard though," he said to himself. If
With Nerissa's tele magic, they were able to land in the forest near Daemoniom, (forest where Damian and Kiera ended up when ghouls are chasing after them.) Damian and Kiera were feeling chills, they were literally here yesterday trying their best not to be a ghoul dinner. "Didn't you warned us about not setting for in Daemoniom?" Damian asked while looking at Nerissa. She shrugged and explained the situation to him. Daemoniom is indeed a place where you are lure in to never come back but if the host is severely injured or in that matter unfocused, they cannot contain their guests or whoever their victim inside Daemoniom anymore which means that everyone will get back into their sense. "So, we just need for the host to be either unfocused or unconscious?" Nerissa nodded at him, but the host of Daemoniom rarely goes out, he was said to be the one who gave the position of Illac and Foire and the one who founded the circle of the supernatural border. It means he is abov
Foire followed by Blair and Elliot went outside. Elliot cannot set foot to where the sunshine so he stopped at the doorstep. They just had to attack during the day. Meanwhile, Nerissa is still masking their presence so that Blair wouldn't be able to find them. "They're outside..." Kiera said looking at Foire and Blair, behind them is Elliot who is concerned about the sunlight. One look and Kiera knows who she will have to fight, that vampire who wears high heels. She just sighed, she can't afford to make mistakes that will ruin their rescue for Juls. "Blair detected us," Nerissa said sharply while looking at Blair. She can't feel her father's presence, so Elliot is really the host because Azazel isn't here. Solana smirked when she saw the human coming out of the door and stand beside Elliot. 'Kala's man' she said in her mind. She looked at Nerissa and nodded. Nerissa removed the spell she cast on and put a protective spell that would last for 30 minutes befor
"Get off of me!" Hendrix yelled. Damian is holding his arms from behind and locks in to prevent him from breaking free. Solana entrusted him to take care of the human that is with Foire and the others. She told him to keep him alive because Solana needs him. Damian just needs to knock Hendrix out then he'll be able to get to where Juls is. He quickly put him to sleep and grabbed Hendrix by his polo collar. This bastard is weaker than he expected, what a shame.Damian looked at Hendrix's unconscious body and clicked his tongue. "I can't believe that I was once that weak," he said and sighed out of disbelief. He needs to get inside and join Kiera. He saw that Kiera managed to keep Elliot's focus out as a host and went to get Juls. If there are some guards inside, then she will feed help. Damian put Hendrix's unconscious body to the location where they landed whilst entering Daemoniom. He shakes off his hand and holds onto his waist. "Just stay there, bud," h
"What is that?" Thalia asked Illac. He scrunched his eyebrow and sigh, can't Blair be a person who actually lives in the 21st century? She could have just texted him the message or emailed him. "Air message," "What's it says?" Illac's face can't be painted after reading the message that Blair sent. He immediately went inside and grabbed his spear. Thalia followed him inside and crossed her arms. "I asked, what does it say?" "Move," "Answer me first," she said looking at Illac. Thalia is in front of him blocking his way out. Illac hissed, why is she so persistent? He is looking out for her, there is no way she can take Solana all by herself together with her pack. "It's your little mission, now get out of the way," he said and walked past by her. Thalia scoffed at him and went ahead of him. "Then I'm going too," she said spitefully. Illac stared at him and sighed out of disbelief, she shouldn't intervene with people's figh
Elliot is a vampire, but not just any other vampire. He was known as killer on the border but for some, he is the faithful servant of Azazel. He has always been there for Nerissa's father and Azazel commend him for that, and in return for his faithfulness, he was reborn. To be able to be the host of Daemoniom, no supernatural can do that other than a necromancer, and did none any of them thought about how would a vampire like Elliot can be the host? Azazel made him, he was what he calls his masterpiece, or rather an abomination. No one in the border knew o heard of it, except Lucas, and now, here it is lies before Solana's eyes. "What the hell are you?" She asked Elliot. Solana was caught off guard when she realized that her sense of smell have been stolen. She was sharp enough to know that it was Elliot. Elliot smirked and examine his body, looking from his left arms down to his right arm. He scoffed and looked at Solana who is furious "Honestly, I don't know," he s

"What are they doing here?!" Nerissa looked at Illac furiously and walked towards him. She was battle-ready the moment she saw Elliot and Lucas behind Illac and Lorcan. The sun is about to set and they are getting ready, Illac has already informed Elliot and Lucas about the truce he made together with Solana's betas and Azazel's daughter, which turned out to make more sense to the both of them since Illac has got nothing to do with Solana in the first place.Elliot looked at Nerissa and cannot help but see Azazel's resemblance to her. He looked away and grinned his teeth, he have been loyal to her father and yet Azazel just ended up using him as well. Everything and everyone to him is just his tool based on what suits and is convenient for him."We will need them," Illac said looking at Nerissa. Lorcan sighed, he knew this would happen, Illac could have brought in someone who they less hate instead of these two who is literally the reason why Solana is in K

"You are claustrophobic?" Solana said irritatingly. She brushed her hair pushed back and bit her lower lips while looking unbelievably at Athalia. She does not mean any criticism but how can she be a hunter with a fear of tight places? Is that not what a hunter usual do, go in tight places and wait for their 'prey' and shoot them dead? "You have been asking me, and for the tenth time, yes!Ugh!" Athalia said rolling her eyes. She has been walking front and back getting uneasy because of Solana's repeated question. "Okay, but I do not care. Get inside the vent or die here," Solana said sharply and kicked the ventilation open, it is not even that tight in Solana's opinion. Solana slowly put her right leg in an arched position as she slowly crawls her way inside the vent. She looked at the way ahead of her and just hissed, it is tight. She moved backwards slowly went out of the vent and placed her right foot on the ground to support her weight. She si
"Illac are you sure about this?" Lorcan asked. They are on their way back to convince Elliot and Lucas. If the two of them agrees, then Illac will be able to bring Lorcan inside humanity's border as well."Yes, with the right motivation," Illac said confidently. They are leaping through the top of the trees making it their own personal playground, i is not even close to a monkey bar but this is their way of relieving the weight of the lives on their shoulder. It is not like they are going to pursue the both of them, making Elliot agree is enough because that automatically means that Lucas is with them too, however, his personality does not like picking sides even if he does it subconsciously with Elliot. Illac does not know if Elliot will be tempted to his offer, but he has no other options. He did not tell Nerissa and the others about it because they will surely forbid him from doing so, hopefully, they do not have to find out.
"Ahh!" Solana screamed in agonizing pain. Ten minutes after Sybil left, Solana felt like despair she had never felt. Her rage, all her hatred, she does not know who deserves it more, but one thing is clear for her. It was like a fog inside her mind cleared up and from there, her true motive, her goal, her desire was shown. Kala and the woman who abandoned her and used her until now deserves to die.Solana tried getting out of the bed but every time she moves, she was being electrocuted. She screamed and screamed, but all her efforts did not work. She does not even have enough strength to go on. She has not been eating for a week now since Sybil had kept her locked, this was the first time she had seen her after a week and it turned out she is her mother who played her life as if it was a doll. She was her mother's puppet without her knowing. Solana saw the truth in her mother's eyes, it was not just Kala who wants to obliterate the supernatural from the beginning, Sybil wante
Illac punched the wall which made a big crack, his fists are closed and his jaw is clenched. Just when things are one step closer to rescuing Solana, Athalia was found by Kala and whoever that woman he heard at Athalia's end of the call."Fuck it," Illac muttered and kicked the chair where Lorcan is sitting. The chair collapsed because of the amount of momentum from Illac's kick that made Lorcan fall to the floor."What happened?" He asked. Illac did not look at him, instead, he grunted and threw all the books he have on the shelf. It is exactly what Lorcan thinks, something bad must have happened. Lorcan stood up and wipe the scrapes from the chair that Illac wrecked."We need to move, Illac said hastily that made Lorcan eyes widened. He is not thinking straight right now, he is rushing his decision without thinking about it. Illac has never done anything like this, so why is he doing this right now?"Illac, it is dangerous," Lorcan sai
Athalia looked from right to left to check if there is any hunters patrolling. This is not the time she watched them so she does not know if there is anyone near Sybil's room. She was careful at each step she takes, if she pulls this off, then they might just rescue Solana and not let her end up dead."Are you near the room?" Illac asked. Athalia rolled her eyes, he has been asking her the same question ten times already. She called Illac just in case something happens, he will know what it is."No, will you shut up and stop asking me. I told you that I will update you, did I not?" Athalia said whispering. She takes double precautions, she does not know what will welcome her along the way so it is best to be prepared.Illac's end of the line became quiet. Finally, Athalia thinks. She looked at the door of Sybil's room, the last time she checked her monitor, she was still inside her dad's lounge and has not come out. She must be contemplating th
One week passed, Athalia have been watching Sybil and her dad, she even had a micro cam and mic installed in the lounge to get whatever she needs, but they barely mention Solana. She has been giving details to Illac as well regarding the room where she found Sybil the moment she came back."Is there anything aside from the room you are suspicious of?" Illac asked at the end of the line. Athalia sighed before answering him."No, but I have been watching them, all I need is to get the key to confirm it. I am gambling at this anyway," Athalia said while talking to the phone with Illac."Make sure that you are gambling for the right one, Tally. We would not want to have any inconveniences and get Solana killed," Illac said. Athalia can feel the seriousness from his voice at the end of the phone line. Athalia cannot mention Sybil's name because she does not even suppose to know about her in the first place, Kala had her hidden until Athalia saw the
