Chapter 24: The Party

There was tension in the body of a lot of people on this day most people had looked forward to. But the tension was for different reasons.

Prince Hector was fidgety, though not noticably. He didn't want to marry either of the women being foisted on him. But duty calls and he had to obey. He didn't mind the breeder role and status given to Camellia. Though she had not really been taking an interest in his son, she was still his mother.

Concerning Challotte, he would feel like he was mating with his own sister. What kind of marriage was he going to have with her? He hoped their long friendship will carry them through.
