CHAPTER 70

AUTUMN’S POV

I could not recall what happened to me the previous night. All I could slightly remember was getting blindfolded after writing a note, asking Kevan to meet at the manor's garden house.

After much trial of struggling, I was bundled and carried to an unknown place.I could hear them speaking. “Are you sure we should do this?” Asked one of the abductors. “We have to; we have been instructed to take her and keep her hostage,” the other abductor responded.

Different thoughts ran through my mind as I thought Kavan would not receive or read the note.

On getting to the destination, my clothes were slightly ripped from the struggle that occurred earlier. My skin and legs were exposed as the night's cold air hit me hard.

I tried screaming, but one of the abductors quickly covered my mouths, muffling my screams. Luckily, Kavan was able to get the note I had sent earlier and, with the faint trail of struggle at the garden house, was able to find me.
