MATHIAS’S POV

After telling Autumn the idea I had about us moving out to a separate manor, she disagreed. She did not accept to leave the manor and claimed that my reasons were not genuine and valid.

I understand her to some point because I knew deep down in me that I was not moving out because of the reasons I stated to her, but for her and my son to be apart from each other.

An idea struck me: I thought of Kavan and his mate moving away. If I and Autumn cannot move away, then my son and his mate Sunny can.

I thought of sharing this with her to see her reaction to this too.

“Autumn, well, I have another suggestion,” I said. “What if Kavan and Sunny moved out instead of us?” I asked. I watched her closely to see her reaction, and I think she noticed that and did not flinch.

She did not say anything about it and just kept silent. I had to ask her for her opinion on it myself. “What do you think about that?” I asked. I needed her reaction so badly so I could see if she cares for Kavan
