CHAPTER 103

AUTUMN'S POV

After fake-promising Mathias that I was going to see him, he finally let me go.

“I will come see you later,“ I said. “You have to fall, do not fail me,” he responded.

“I will; do not worry,” I said, reassuring him. He finally let me leave, and I thought of Kavan almost immediately.

What could he be thinking right now? He must have thought something was going on. I had to explain to him about what happened so he would not misunderstand.

“Autumn, how are you?” Mrs. Potts said. “I am fine; how are you, Mrs. Potts?” I responded. “Oh my dear, I am fine,” she replied.

"Well, that is good,” I responded. “I should get going now; we will see later,” she said and left for the kitchen.

I passed the dining hall, and I did not see both Kavan and Sunny. Kavan must be in his room, I thought to myself.

I left the dining hall heading to his room; getting there, I saw Sunny hugging Kavan tightly.

“Oh, I am sorry for interrupting your guys moments,” I said. I was so pained and also jealous
