Chapter Twelve

Rosy walk ahead with Billy who came to escort her to the castle, her hand were in is arms as they headed to the castle together, some of the girls had gone already, each were also escorted. While she could see others ahead of them heading toward the castle with their escort. She was nervous and a little bit giddy, she was giddy because she would have the opportunity to look at the interior of the castle.

They walk hand in hand till they got to the castle were the large door was wide open with two guarda standing in each end as various people troop in. Billy let go of her hand, as he fix is suit. He had worn a very formal attire with is sandy brown hair curled to the back, he was fairly an handsome young man, average in height. He had a naturally friendly look on is face which makes him more attractive especially with his almost permanent grin.

  " Princess? Are you done checking me out"he joked.

Rosy face flushed in embarrassment bowing her head to hide her face as she internally scolded herself for being caught.

Noticing her embarrassed state he chuckled" there is no need to be shy about it,I know am very handsome" he bragged with a grin" but I will like that you stop doing that,I would'nt want them to have my head" he stated.

" Have your head,why?" Rosy asked curiously.

" Princess you are one of the King's woman, so it won't be nice of you were to be caught checking another man out while you are here for the king" he answered"we are here now, this is as far as I can go with you, I need to get the other ladies in waiting" he said as he bow before turning around and striding away leaving her alone.

Rosy stood still for a while staring at the castle as people walk pass her,glancing at her curiously but she was not bothered about there curious glance as she continued to stare at the castle. It was even more magnificent from up close, there were fountain and flowers all around it with alot of trees, but the tree added to it beauty. The large door which stood tall wasn't a glass like she expected but it definitely looks like one, the glasses around the building were like crystal with a touch of gold and bright light around it indicating that a ball was being held inside. She took a deep breathe and walk inside passing through the doors .

Immediately she step inside, she was mesmerize but she continue walking not wanting to stop and feed her eyes so she won't look like a freak. She walk through the hall following the people that went in before her as they headed to were the banquet was being held. They were guard also standing right in front of the entrance. 

   " Hey, you are here on time" beamed Maria who came from behind her, hooking her hands around rosy's hands " let go, I was waiting for you before"she said.

 Rosy smiled relieved that there was a familiar face around"why so?" She asked with raise eyebrow, wandering why the other lady would take the liberty to wait for her outside the ballroom.

 "If I had went alone, there will be nobody to chat and watch the drama that would have unfold and it will be so boring" she said smiling "let go" she stated again dragging Rosy pass the guards who stood by the door. 

 Once they were inside Maria unhook her hands from rosy's and walk forward to a man who stood close to the entrance and whispered something to him.

  " Introducing lady Maria Luna Lucas!"

There was smattering of polite applause before the crowd went back to what they were doing. Rosy step forward also whispering her name to the announcer as Maria step away waiting for her.

 " Introducing lady Rosita Nina Moore!".

The smattering of applause followed as  most eyes in the to turned to look at her due to the her name which had always got her attention right from the begininng, they glance at he seizing her up before whispering among themselves. Embarrase at the attention she got, she brought her head low regretting why she had'nt let Lana leave her hair down for moment like this,were she could use her hair to shield her face. She step forward almost red as the announcer continued with the others.

Maria step toward her whispering in her ear "Don't bow your head so low,it will make them look down on you"she stated"stand straight, chin high and stare right at them, if you can't stare above their heads but don't bow your head" she demanded .

Leading toward the other girls which were already seated, they found a vacant space and sat down. Once seated, Rosy sigh I'm disappointment noticing that Madison and her minimums were seated close to them, glaring at her. She looked exceptionally beautiful with her blue gown which was straight and had a slit which went all the way to her laps showing too much skin and the outline of her breast were outside, while she wore matching jewelries leaving her hair to fall straight. " Look what we have here...?" She said eyeing them " The mutt mutt and the phsyco becomes friends, what weird combination"she said while her minimums giggled " such disgusting creatures" she jested.

  " Yeah it would be better you shut your ass and stop butting into people's business" Maria sneered" But, oh I forgot, butting into what does not concern you is your specialty. That why you wouldn't last longer here, The king don't need a gossip as a queen"Maria said gesturing her hands dramatically.

Ohhs and ahh were heard from the other girls while some snickered, but a glare from Madison shut them up." I had watch my back if I were you phsyco" she sneered obviously out of insult.

 Maria gasp with a flinch putting her hand on her mouth dramatically"oh my world!!she is gonna hurt me! am so scared"she said in a banish tune. The within a second her eyes flicke turning into a mudurous glare "Madison baby..." She stated firmly" you know you can't do anything, you should be scared of me instead , since you obviously know I am a phsyco" before looking ahead signaling that the conversation was over.

Madison sneered grinding her teeth together in anger, but kept shut and look away.

 Rosy watch their interaction and came to a conclusion that there was something actually going on between them other than this encounter, she looked at the girls beside Madison who were still snickering wondering why they were following Madison like a lost puppy while it was obvious that they don't like her. She sigh and look away in search of other familiar faces, she saw Tara ahead of them. She sat down staring at the empty throne while sipping her drink slowly, if what Madison was wearing was revealing, Tara dress was ten times more revealing, her breast were almost popping out and the dress she had on was very short but she was still beautiful tho, she would have been exceptionally beautiful if she wasn't dress like a slut. Rosy wondered why she was staring so intently at the empty throne as of she could see the absent King seated. She sigh and looked away noticing they were other girls from the other mansion who were seated apart from them, chattering among themselves while the entertainment was going on.

  " Hey" Maria whispered nudging at her.

  "What?"she asked looking at Maria.

"Over there"Maria said nodding her head toward an exceptionally pretty lady who was seated a step away from the King's throne acting like a proclaim doll while maids stood close to her answering to every of her call as one fan her.

 "That lady Elizabeth daughter of the highcourt lady Kaylan Deavon" she said.

" I thought she was part of the participant?"Rosy asked 

  " Yes she is" Maria replied.

" Then why is she seated so close to the throne instead of being with us" Rosy asked curiously 

  " Oh dear, that the treatment you get when you have alot of backing, she is there because they all believe she would be the next queen" Maria stated .

" Wow! does the king know about such arrangement" Rosy asked.

" How would I know? Am I his highness?" Maria asked.

      " But I thought you said you got eye and ears around"Rosy stated grinning 

"Yes I do,but not up to were the king is"Maria said with an eyeroll, focusing her attention back to the performance that was going on for their entertainment.

    "Why are we seated like this? Aren't we supposed to be introducing ourselves" Rosy asked.

  Maria scoff"You speak and act like you don't think sometimes" maria nagged "can't you see the king is not around yet" she asked.

True to her word Rosy looked around noticing the throne was still empty "bu... But...."

She was cut short by the announcer as he introduce the arrival of the king.
