Winning without a fight

(Few days later)

           Dawn's pov👑

I heard noises of the door opening and footsteps followed. The sun reflected on my face and I turned swiftly backing it.

Caroline chuckled and I felt her presence behind me. I fraily opened my eyes and blinked fervently.

"Good morning, your highness" Her voice said cheerfully.

I sighed and sat up on the bed raising my knees up to my face.

"Morning Caroline..." I muttered still struggling to keep my eyes open.

"You highness...breakfast is ready and you..."

"Need to be there" I interrupted her with a light smile.

She laughed bashfully and I glanced at her excited face.

"You've gotten used to it, haven't you" She mumbled and began walking to the bathroom.
