Chapter 301 Was It a Kidnapping?

It was late at night. Once again, Stephen was under the big tree at Miller Villa. He remained there until all of the lights in the building went out before driving home.

The road was empty, and his surroundings were silent. As he drove, Stephen began to get lost in his thoughts. All of a sudden, he heard a loud noise come from behind him, and a strong impact shook his car.

Stephen frowned when he saw a black Volkswagen in his rearview mirror. The driver had already gotten out of the Volkswagen. His gait was uneven, and he staggered forward. It seemed like he was drunk. Stephen thought it was a simple case of drunk driving, so he got out of his car without a second thought.

"It's best to let the police handle this case of drunk driving," Stephen said as he moved to call the police.

To his surprise, the driver charged at him suddenly and sent his phone flying.
