1.The Ball

Friday 5PM

Casie's POV 

"Finally the day has arrived I was waiting for. It's our annual school ball day. Although, It's a bit weird to land alone in a ball instead of a date still I ain't gonna lose on my chances. Who knows, Jack may fall in love with me today"

I went to the bathroom looking for my new facial and spa kit. I opened up the kit, played around pampering myself & skincare regime.

After 45 mins:

"Wow, this cucumber mask is so rejuvenating. I can see the glow on my face. And, yes this spa cream - yeah it has really worked pretty well on my hair making them look silky shine" I said to myself

After a relaxing shower, I walked to the closet looking for an outfit that I've preserved for this special occasion. It was a golden yellow ball gown which I bought sometime back.

"Damn I don't believe I broke my piggy bank for this cute outfit but no wonder - this dress is so beautiful and if Jack falls in love with me tonight then it's totally worth it."

I glanced at myself in the mirror with the gold dress again. There were flares at the bottom part and towards the left side, a slit which isn't too high, not too low. The lowcut neck of the dress was shaping up the body perfectly.

I adjusted my hair in a princess braid bun,  applied my pink lipstick, and adjusted the kohl and mascara.

I went to the closet to fetch my jewelry box carefully. The jewelry box is glossy red in color with fine detailing of a rose engraved on it.

I opened the box and took out my priced possession-My mom's bracelet.

I took out the bracelet and glanced at my mom's photo frame kept on my side table.

"I wish mom you were here to see me. I know you are very proud of me in how I am growing up into a mature woman."

I carefully adjusted the bracelet on my wrist and then took out my glossy silver pair of stilettoes.

I paired it with my gown.

"Damn I look amazing" I smiled a little. Now It's showtime.

I went downstairs into the garage and went to my snooty. Snooty is my red car. Yes, I have given it a nickname. I know it's weird but I am kind of a weirdo.

I opened my GPS navigation and entered the location. Following the route. 20 mins later the city view completely vanished. The route seems to go through some slope mountainous roads. There were trees on both sides of the road. There is hardly any vehicle visible. The weather was a little cloudy and started raining in a while

"O my I don't want to land into a ball with my dress drenched. Perhaps it will stop till I reach my destination" I thought

It's crazy. Why they have chosen such a location which is away from the city and so deserted and why the roads are so empty.

I checked the phone again only to realize about my stupid mistake. I've entered the wrong postal code." Great, this is what was needed! How can I be so stupid." I mumbled

I took a reverse turn. The road was wet, slippery, and a little muddy. I lost the balance on my snooty. I might have hit the tall tree behind. Next, I know everything went black.
