Reading the breaking news of the afternoon felt like a little victory for Bukky. She might not have gotten the justice she wanted at the moment, but hearing that Ike was suspended as the speaker of the house of representatives made her feel good.

The whole country was in an uproar after she made her accusations against Ike earlier in the day. People demanded that he get arrested and put in jail, others called for his impeachment while some wanted evidence to believe he did something like that. She does not care if he had any supporters, she just wants him to suffer for what he has done to his family.

She felt so alone now that everyone had left and gone back to their various lives. She was left to pain and bear the pain alone. She even got a call from the presidency assuring her of their cooperation, but she was not sure if she trusted the government well enough to handle the case without bias. The sound of her ringtone brought her back to reality.
