The next morning Annie and Rebecca took their time getting ready together. They took the time together to relish in their old routine, something they would never have the time for before. Rebecca had taken the day off work, not to spend time with Annie, although it was at least partly for her best friend. Instead Rebecca had plans for her day. After her talk with Annie the previous night, she had finally come to a decision about Cindy. She was finally going to confess her feelings. Part of her still feared that Cindy wouldn't feel the same way, but that was a reality she was prepared for. "Don't you have work soon?" Annie asked as she lesurely put her suger in her coffee. Rebecca shook her head. "I'm actually going to talk to Cindy today," Rebecca confessed, she sounded nervous as her feet tangled anxiously together. Rebecca was a stong independant woman that was not affraid of rejection. She did fear putting herself out there though. She had always been very vocial about injustice
Kaylee knocked on Alexander's office door, she waited until she heard her invitation to come in. While she was waiting she took deep breaths, becoming more focused. Alexander was proving hard to manipulate, Kaylee wasn't sure why she was surpised, but she knew one day she would break him. "Come in!" Alexander called, Kaylee smiled as she opened the door and sat down in the chair oposite him. It was the exact same seat as Annie had sat in just the week before when Kaylee had been listening in on their conversation. Ever since she's bee watching people move Annie's stuff in with Alexander. Kaylee hated that Annie was moving in, it meant she would be closer to Alexander. It didn't help that Kaylee was set to move out any day dnow, her only chance was to convince him now to let her stay with him. "Hi Alex," Kaylee smiled, she felt familliar enough with Alexander to call him by his nickname. Alexander never corrected her, but he felt slightly uncomfortable, the only people that are close
Annie had left Alexander's office feeling utterly mortified. She couldn't believe she was about to confess her feelings for him in front of someone ese. Annie and Kaylee had been introduced but they hadn't spent any time together yet. Annie had just been too busy and Kaylee had been avoiding Annie so far. It wasn't long before there was a knock on Annie's door. "Come in!" Annie called. The door slowly slided open, revealing Kaylee who had an apologetic smile on her face. "Hi," Kaylee said, sheepishly looking down at the ground. This was her first time having a one on one conversation with Annie, it was taking all of her willpower to control her blazing anger, Kaylee hadn't gotten very far with her plan so far, so she had to try a new tactic which meant talking to Annie herself. Kaylee knew she would have to get used to this, the feelings of frustration and irritation if her new plan would work. "Oh, hi, Kaylee right?" Annie asked, it had been over a week since they had been introdu
"You wanted to talk to me earlier?" Alexander asked as he slowly sat next to Annie on the sofa. Annie jumped a little and paused her show to look at him. She wasn't sure what to say now, Kaylee had made her rethink a lot of things. While she suspected it wasn't Kaylee's intention to discourage Annie from confessing her feelings to Alexander, she couldn't help but think over all the points Kaylee had made. Annie's worst nightmare would be jumping into something that neither of them were ready for. She wanted a way that they could take things slowly, but she doubted there would be a slow with Alexander. Everything with Alexander had always been so intence, it was starting to scare her. Annie wasn't sure she could be all or nothing, expecially with her fragile mental state. "It's not important anymore," Annie shrugged off. Annie hoped and prayed that Alexander would take this as his chance to back off. However, Annie knew that Alexander could never take a hint. He's always seemed so stu
The next morning Annie woke up back in her own bed, she smiled at the thoughts of the night before. She felt so much for Alexander and she was glad to see some development between the two. As she sat in her bed, comforted by her blankets, she thought back to that first night she had met Alexander. He had been such a sweet boy. Everything between them had felt so natural, just as it had last night. She always thought that should be how love is, innocently natural. For years she had set such high standards for her potential partners, it had caused her a lot of pain and even more arguments. Now she wondered if she had been wrong. She wondered if the perfect relationship she was looking for was just someone who she could easily laugh with and spend endless hours talking to without ever getting bored. That first night she spent with Alexander had been the best night of her life. That Alexander had been the one to capture her heart and now she could see glimpses of him in the chaos of his c
Alexander drove for over an hour to get to a relitively unknown location. Alexander had been getting calls from a strange, unknown number all day, it had been happening for a couple of days now. Alexander had finally had enough of it an answered the call, whoever was on the other line clearly used a voice changer and had given him just one location and the instruction to come alone. Alexander couldn't explain why, but he felt compelled to go. With everything that had just happening with Xavier Alexander refused to take any chances. He hadn't confessed it yet, not to anyone accept Chris, but Alexander wasn't even sure that Xavier was dead. Alexander had shot him, at the very least he was incopacitated for a while, but Alexander couldn't be sure he was dead. As Alexander arrived, he sat in his car, turning off the engine as he looked towards the building. The building was an oversized building that had clearly been abandoned for a long time. As Alexander studied the building that could
For the next week Annie barely saw Alexander. He left her notes, and she knew he had been eating the food she always left for him. It seemed they were back to their old pattern. Annie hated it, she was at her wits end. That night they spent together talking for hours on the sofa felt so far away now that Annie had began to believe once again that none of it was real. Annie knew Alexander was a business man with bad habits, but she had thought they would see each other more. She thought that they had been heading towards a relationship, they hadn't even spoken in a week. Annie had tried, she stayed up sometimes, but he had headed straight to the kitchen, ate and left once again. The weird call still hunted her, she had yet to tell Alexander since he hadn't been around. She couldn't even ask him questions. Today Annie decided she would not worry about Alexander or their situation that she was trapped in. Instead she arranged a girls day with all her friends. Since the boys were busy it
Annie felt more confident with her new hair colour. It was still styled from her trip to the salon earlier in the day so all she needed to do to get ready for a dinner with Chris was change clothes. Annie put on a black knee length dress that she felt matched her new hair colour. Annie decided she would arrange to go shopping with one of the girls one day in the next week to get some new clothes to match her new hair colour. Annie lightly did her make up, she was going to a rather fancy restraunt and feared being underdressed, she had never been one to live an expensive life style before and it was a big adjustment for her. She had never really had to worry about her bills, but she didn't have enough money to pamper herself like she did now. Alexander had just given her a debit card with no spending limit. Annie hated thinking about how he got this much money, but she hoped it was of semi legal means despite her doubts. Annie got an uber to the restraunt and when she arrived Chris wa
