Leighton was dragging an unconscious Rogue by his ankle towards us..

Aiden gets out of the car, hurrying towards him as I keep an eye out for the humans that had disappeared into the trees. It would only be a matter of time before the humans found those dead ones. Unless the wolves got to them first.

“Why did you bring him here?” I hear Aiden yell

“I told you, the twat stabbed me.”

“Stabbed?” I was curious and join them. “Stabbed with what?”

“Some sort of syringe.” Leighton points to his neck

On his neck was a small red pin pick. Like the one I had been left with after Becca jabbed me.

“So I knocked him out. And brought him in for questioning.”

“But you linked me?” I mutter

“I hoped to get back here before you left.”

“She means you were jabbed and you can still link us.” Aiden frowns as he checks Leightons jab wound.

“You think he tried to inject me with the same stuff?”

“We both know that Hybrids don’t always react in the same way as the others. Maybe it didn’t work on you.”
