Eric Damian pulled his hands out of Vivian's head, thus breaking the connection between them, and Vivian flinched from the sudden loss of contact. She felt disoriented and vulnerable, as if her mind had been invaded and left exposed.

Vivian was a little shaky because of what she had just seen. Her breath was shallow, and her heart was pounding in her chest. She tried to steady herself by holding on to something, but her hands were trembling too much.

Eric, meanwhile, was calm but had a worried look, as if he was trying to figure out everything he had just seen in Vivian's head. He rubbed his forehead and closed his eyes for a moment, as if to clear his mind.

"What did you do to me?" Vivian asked, looking terrified. Her voice was shaking, and she sounded as if she was about to break down.

Damian glanced at her and noticed she was bleeding on both sides of her head. His fingers must have pierced her head while he was trying to extract information. He felt a pang of guilt and regret,

"What's this?!" Chriswell yelled once he got into Vivian's room, and she could hear his loud voice reverberating throughout the house to the kitchen Vivian was in. "Oh my God, I have totally forgotten about Eric," she said, her heart racing with fear that her fiance, Sergeant Chriswell, had seen Damian in her room... ★ After having dinner with her mother and the little mother-daughter discussion they had, Clara went up to her room. But she had this strange feeling, an overwhelming ache in her chest, a longing to see her father again, even though she knew it was impossible. He was long dead and must have turned to dust by now. She jumped on her bed, feeling the weight of sadness pressing down on her. Her laptop was next to her, and she almost dropped it in her grief. She stared at it for a while, then an idea came to her mind. She turned on the laptop and opened an existing folder. It took her to a series of recorded videos, and a bittersweet smile formed on Clara's face as she cli

Lucian smiled weakly, his eyes glimmering with a mix of determination and fear. “That's partially correct. My father, Marcus, was a very strong alpha wolf, and I was his only son and heir to his pack. His territory was far from here, very far from here, in a not-too-large village, and we were charged to protect all the people, humans, and wolves alike that lived in the territory from creatures who tasted blood, a job we did pretty fine for so many years until he came.” “Who came?” Adams asked, noticing the sudden shift in Lucian's demeanor. “A man, a strange-looking man, but he was no man. He was a blood-sucking demon, a vampire, and he had an unquenchable taste for blood that I haven't seen before. My father led the charge against this monster with his mighty pack and me by his side. We fought and attacked the creature with all we got, but he seemed an unstoppable force. He was untouchable, unkillable. I could have died that day as the creature's hands went through me and held my he

"Not really, I just tricked you so you'd come upstairs," he said with a mischievous grin on his face, his eyes sparkling with desire. "Oh really, I know that smile," Vivian said, her laughter light and carefree, her eyes shining with amusement. Chriswell moved closer to her and locked his arms around her waist, his body radiating heat. "Why don't you follow me, let's have a hot bath together?" he said, his breath warm against her ear, before he pressed his lips to hers in a passionate kiss. Vivian kissed him back eagerly, her heart racing with excitement. "Wow, it seems someone is in the mood. Where did you even catch a cold?" she said, looking at him suspiciously, her eyes narrowing in playful teasing. Sergeant Chriswell smiled at her, his eyes crinkling at the corners, before he lifted her up into his arms and carried her into the bathroom. As Vivian was being carried, she couldn't help but glance at the window once more, hoping to see any sign of Damian, but there wasn't any. "

“Anna,” he called her in a hushed voice, making sure Mrs Henry didn't catch him. “Anna,” he called again, his voice a little louder this time. Anna could swear she heard someone whispering her name, but who could be so brave or stupid to talk while Mrs Henry was still teaching? She tensed up, her heart racing. She had to turn when she heard her name being called again and again. She saw it was Mathias, but his facial expressions were so confusing that she couldn't understand what he was trying to say. “What?” She said in a hushed tone, trying not to draw any attention to herself. “Clara is not in class…” he whispered, but Anna could barely hear what he was saying over the sound of her pounding heart. “What about Clara?” Anna asked, her voice trembling with fear as she tried to keep an eye on Mrs Henry, who was still unaware of their exchange. “Who just spoke in my class?” Mrs Henry asked, her voice filled with disgust. "But it's too much, I will get fat," she said, making a funny face, which made him laugh, and she felt relieved. "Alright, only on one condition though," he said, his eyes twinkling mischievously. "What condition?" she asked, intrigued. "You will feed me," he said, leaning in for a playful kiss, and she blushed. A few minutes later, when Sergeant Chriswell had to leave for work, Vivian felt sad and a little scared to be left alone. "My princess, I would have loved to stay by your side forever, just staring at your beautiful face, but sadly I gotta get going to work now," he said, his voice laced with regret. “Like seriously a witch?" Clara said, shaking her head disapprovingly. “Okay now I am talking nonsense but when Mathias talks about vampires, werewolves and witches he is making sense right?” Anna said, her arms folded in thought. “That's because mine makes a whole lot of sense but yours don't,” Mathias said, smirking as they all laughed. “But seriously though, I got to get this laptop fixed as soon as possible,” Clara said, her tone reflecting her frustration. “Then pray Mrs Henry grows a heart in the next few minutes,” Anna said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Some minutes later, the door to the office swung open, revealing Mrs Henry and a student, Patricia Kelvin, who was helping her carry her files. The shy girl looked uncomfortable with all the attention. “Thank you, you may return to your class,” Mrs Henry said, dismissing Patricia. Damian pursed his lips in confusion and gazed intensely at the strange lady who called his name as if they were familiar. "Do I know you?" he asked, his voice tinged with uncertainty and curiosity. She didn't give him an immediate reply, her eyes glistening with unshed tears, making Damian even more confused about what was going on. "I never thought I would see you again," she finally spoke some words, her voice quivering with emotion, as she walked slowly towards him. As Damian stared at her, it became evident that he had seen her face before, but he couldn't quite recall where. Yes, he now remembers... she was the doctor he zoomed past when he took the beautiful Vivian out of the hospital that night. But she couldn't have possibly seen him. Even if she did, which was very unlikely, she wouldn't recognize his face, know his name, and neither would this be the reaction she would show. "Have we met before?" Damian asked, rephrasing the question, his tone filled with disbelief. "W

[Quick catch-up] During the morning period, while they were in Mrs. Henry's office, she told them their punishment would be that they would have to come to school the next day, which happened to be a Saturday, a freakin' weekend!! She informed them she would be taking them to a place where they would be doing some community service - helping the elderly people for the most of that day. And clearly, Anna is still very much hung up on this. Mathias really didn't mind; in fact, he actually preferred that than staying at home, especially now that his adopted mum wasn't home, and he is left with only his adopted dad. Clara was very upset at first, but now all that was on her mind was why Adams wasn't in school... [End of catching up] “...well, it's not like that. It's just __you know he helped me and Mathias the other day, and I just wanted to thank him,” Clara said, tongue-twisting all the way, her anxiety palpable in her voice. “Really, haven't you thanked him enough?” Anna said, not
