Eric Damian's presence in the building permeated the atmosphere, casting an eerie sense of fear that seemed to hang in the air, suffocating and potent. In an instant, the tables turned, and the men loyal to Lucian suddenly felt a wave of unease as if they were vastly outnumbered.

"What's the matter? Why the long faces? Aren't you guys thrilled to see me?" Eric's voice dripped with a smirk as he released his grip on the man, who struggled to stand on trembling legs.

Damian glanced at Adams, a smile curling on his lips. "Your men are in dire need of a lesson in manners, or else I'll have to teach them my way. I can assure you, they won't enjoy that," he taunted.

"They're not my men. My men wouldn't conspire to kill me behind my back. So, feel free to do as you please with them. I couldn't care less," Adams retorted.

Damian's smile turned devilish. "I relish the sound of that," he murmured
