I was instantly holding my choked breath now. Both of my palms had even sealed my lips tightly, so as not to make the slightest sound now. The sweat that soaked my entire body, and the tears that ran down my face, felt even more suffocating to my uncertain feelings right now. I prayed that they wouldn't find me and The Crescent Moon Pack's heirloom. I have to keep that heirloom at all costs. And putting the heirloom inside the secret wall is the right way right now. If I were to keep the box containing The Crescent Moon Pack's heirloom with me, then my safety as well as the heirloom's safety would be in danger.
"Are you sure that the girl and the heirloom are in this room?" The voice of a man with a very hoarse tone of voice was immediately heard.
"I'm sure that the girl brought the heirloom here. But where?"
Another man's voice answered over there. I felt even colder and my body trembled with fear. Every step of their two feet that could be heard walking further into the basement, made me hold my breath. I bent my legs even closer to the front of my body, cowering in fear inside this old crate.
Damn.
I was starting to think that those werewolves currently inside the basement must be pretty reliable werewolves. But all those thoughts were replaced with the fear and worry I felt about the condition of my father, mother, and all the members of my pack. If these werewolves were able to enter the basement, then what is the condition of all the werewolves from The Crescent Moon Pack now?

I instantly closed both of my eyelids very tightly as I listened to the sounds of things being slammed, thrown, and also dropped around the crate right now. My entire body was trembling with all the possibilities that would happen. And somehow I could feel a strong rush of air around my body right now. That instantly made me start to slowly open my closed eyelids, and look in front of me.
"Here you are hiding sweet girl!!!" The man quickly pulled my arm out of the crate.
"Let go!!! Let go of me!!! Damn it!!! Don't you dare touch me!!!"
I rebelled very hard in order to break the man's grip on my arm. Moreover, when I managed to get out of the crate I had been hiding in, the other man who had been silent was also holding the other side of my arm. That made it even more difficult for me to rebel and extricate myself from their grasp now.
"Shut up! Otherwise we'll silence that sharp mouth of yours with our weapons. Do you understand?"
Hearing that from one of the men holding me instantly made me realize that at their sides were various sharp weapons that were full of blood. I even only knew a few of the names of those sharp weapons. Swords and axes. That was all I knew.
I decided to stay silent and keep trying to be able to stomp both hands, both feet, and even almost my own entire body to rebel and break free from the clutches of these two werewolves right now. But it seemed like the strength the two of them and I had simply didn't compare anymore.
Because in the end, the two of them managed to bring me out from inside the basement to the hall of The Crescent Moon Pack with my shuffling footsteps, and hurriedly followed the steps of these two strapping and large men. But every footstep I took due to the coercion of these two men, made me realize even more how horrible the condition of The Crescent Moon Pack was right now. I saw many bodies of werewolves, members of The Crescent Moon Pack lying on the floor dead and covered in blood. Some of their bodies even disappeared and were no longer intact, all of which also looked extremely gruesome to me.
"No... no... why?! Why are you doing this to them?!"
I screamed at the top of my lungs. I summoned all my strength to scream and struggled even more to break free from their grip. But, I didn't get a single answer. Only annoyed growls from them. Until not long after I returned to the hall area, the two men simultaneously released their grip from my body, and pushed me hard and roughly forward, causing me to fall straight onto the blood-soaked hall floor. I looked in horror at the pool of blood beneath my body right now.
The thick, fishy odor almost made me feel nauseous. Both my palms, as well as the dress I was wearing, were full of blood. My eyes welled up with tears again, as I instantly felt heat all over my body. I felt very angry.
"Alpha, this is the girl you are looking for. The only daughter of The Crescent Moon Pack. She's hiding in the basement like a baby." One of the men who took me by force from the basement to the hall quickly spoke.
But I don't want to focus on what he's saying. Even more so with the unfamiliar scent that was starting to enter my nostrils now. Not the fishy scent of blood, but something much stronger, like a blend of coffee and vanilla. I ventured to lift my head and looked at the pair of shoes with blood stains. 'Mate....' My inner wolf whispered in my mind.
"Arrrggghhh!!!" Before I could really give another reaction, I felt a tight tug on my hair. It instantly made me scream and stand up from the position I was lying in when I was pushed to the ground earlier. I tried to pull back my hair that was being pulled by the person in front of me.
"Let go!!! Let go of me, damn it!!!" I shouted loudly as I stood right in front of that person. A man with his entire face covered in blood.
"Oh, so this girl is my mate?"
the man whispered with a tone of voice that sounded like mocking. I could see a lopsided smile on the corner of his lips now. Even with just that small, lopsided smile, I could feel the horror in my entire body now. How could that man smile after doing all those horrible things?
"Why? Why did you do all this? Why did you kill all the members of my pack? What was the reason?!"
I asked when the man had removed his hand from my hair, and I felt some of my hair being pulled out by the man's pull earlier. I looked at the face of the man my wolf soul had called 'mate' in my mind earlier. This really isn't my mate. I never prayed to the Moon Goddess to get a mate who is so evil like him.
"You mean by killing all the members of your pack?" The man asked with a tilt of his head. "Honey, I didn't just kill them. I also killed your parents."
"Wh-what? What are you saying?! What did you do to my parents!!! Where are my parents!! Mom!!! Dad!!!" I shouted in a very panicked sounding voice as I took a few steps back now. I looked in disbelief and fear right at the man, my mate.

"MOM!!! DAD!!!"
I screamed and ran over to their bodies lying on the floor with a lot of blood coming out of them there. I fell to my knees as I realized mom and dad's faces were already looking very broken. They were already dead. They didn't keep their promise to come back to see me. They were gone and would never come back. My hands were shaking so much that I tried to reach out to them, but I didn't have the strength to do so. I was sobbing, and my whole body was becoming increasingly stiff. My head bowed deeply, and I could feel my wolf soul crying along with me. We were both orphans now. No parents, no family, and no pack.
"Why? Why are you doing all this?" I muttered and immediately stood up to look at the man behind me.
"Don't yell. Or you'll find out what I can do to you, silly little mate."
The man muttered as he walked closer right towards me now. And I unconsciously clenched my palms together, and gave him a pretty good punch right in the face right there. That made the man back his body and immediately rubbed his face where I hit him.
"You! How dare you hit the Alpha of The Silver Moon Pack!" I didn't react at all to the words of the two men behind us. I just kept looking at the man, my mate who was starting to look right back at me.
"You're my mate... but why? Why are you doing this to me? To my parents, my family and the rest of my pack. What's the reason? We never even met before, so why did you come and ruin my life? What did I do wrong to you? You ruined my life!!!"
"It's because I want you and this entire pack to vanish! I don't even care if I have to kill everyone in this pack one by one with my own hands. As long as, you and all of them die and vanish without a trace now. And yes, I don't even want a mate like you. I already have another woman that I love very much. Then why have a mate who comes from a low pack and is also weak like you. Therefore, die, and give this heirloom of your pack to me now."
"So that's your real purpose?" I asked while looking right at the man with an incredulous look. "After all the terrible and horrible things you did to my entire family... you just want to take the The Crescent Moon Pack's heirloom?" I shook my head and raised my right palm and rubbed my tear-filled face roughly. I no longer cared about the pain and sting I was feeling. Especially with the man in front of me right now. When I finished saying that, he immediately lowered his right palm that was stretched out right towards me earlier. The man looked at me with both his sharp and cold eyes, but I wasn't as weak as he thought. "You could say that. I sent a message to your dad, the Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack about a month ago, to ask for this pack's heirloom in kind. In return, I won't take you as my mate, the only daughter they have, and you can stay in your pack, without the need to live with me. You do know about the matting stuff, right? And yes, a little girl like you would kn
"Hhh..." I opened my eyelids very quickly as I felt my entire body being slammed by something very hard. The impact caused a very tight feeling inside my chest. I inhaled and exhaled very quickly, and hoped that the tightness and pain in my chest would disappear. I blinked both of my eyelids in a very quick motion, as I realized that the very bright light before me and also around me was really disturbing the sight of both of my eyes right now. But when my eyes began to see very clearly, I realized that I was now in a room that was very strange to myself. A room that I had never recognized before. Even more so with the surrounding scent in this room. All of this feels very foreign to me right now. I tried to turn my head, but all parts of my body felt very stiff. I couldn't move the fingers on my hands and feet now. I closed my eyelids for a moment, and tried to catch my breath again. I hope this isn't a dream. I'm not really dead. I was back to life. I kept saying all the positive
Third POV "Isn't that the girl's voice?" Elijah asked directly to Emrys, the female witch who was concocting medicinal potions inside her room there. Emrys looked straight at Elijah who was frowning frantically. "I think it's true. That seems to be the girl's voice." Emrys replied mutteringly while putting back the herbal ingredients that were in the palm of his hands there. "I'll check it out." Elijah muttered, then ran very quickly to the room where Luciana was right now. Elijah ran up the stairs, and opened the door to the room with a swift motion. Elijah looked at the bed, and immediately widened his eyes, unable to find Luciana there. Elijah walked into the room, casting his eyes in every direction in the room. And not long after that, Elijah heard the sound of sobbing on the other side of the bed there. "Oh my... hey..." Elijah muttered with relief when he found Luciana still sitting on the floor with her body bent over crying now. Elijah quickly, walked over to Luciana,
"Wait a minute..." I muttered and tried to prevent the man who had helped me from moving. Slowly, he turned around and looked at me in confusion. "My name is Luciana, Luciana Edith. It would be much worse if I myself didn't even know the name of someone who had helped me. So, what's your name?" I asked slowly. Remembering that I hadn't even asked about names or even the house I'd been living in for the past year. The man instantly broke into a small smile there. "My name is Elijah, Elijah Gray. I am a Lycan King. And this is my pack, my kingdom. The Blodlust Moon Pack." I nodded my head in slow motion. Trying to keep remembering the man's name and also the name of his pack. Elijah Gray and The Blodlust Moon Pack. Both names that felt very unfamiliar to me. Because I had never even met the Lycan King in person before. "Alright. Thanks..." "I'll be right back together with Emrys. Get some rest first then." Elijah quickly walked back out of the room. And I fell silent again. I fe
"Hahahaha!!!"I laughed quite loudly after listening to all the words said by Elijah, Emrys and Josiah over there. I felt both funny and amused as I tried to understand each of their words about my own identity now. Even more so when I looked right at the faces of Elijah, Emrys, and also Josiah who began to show a confused expression while looking at me who was still laughing now. I tried to stop my laughter even though it was very difficult. That instantly made Elijah's hand grip on my shoulder become loose, and he began to frown quite deeply there."Gosh... hahaha... gosh, I can't stop laughing. Ehem... pfftt... that's so funny. I mean, you guys are saying that I'm a hybrid now? Half werewolf and half witch?"I looked back at Elijah, Emrys, and Josiah with a curl of my lips to contain my laughter now. I also blinked my eyelids a few times."Yes, Luciana. We're trying to say that you're no longer an ordinary werewolf. But a hybrid. Half werewolf and half witch."Elijah muttered as he
Third POVElijah walked together with Luciana through the forest to The Crescent Moon Pack's location now. Even with her feet limping slowly, Luciana kept walking with all the strength she had now. Luciana continued to pray and also hoped that the heirloom belonging to The Crescent Moon Pack that she had hidden inside the secret basement wall was still safely hidden there. It had been one year since the events of the most terrifying night of her life. Luciana thought it was about time she should steel her heart and straighten her whole body. After all, her own heart had turned to stone and hardened ever since Harrison Hux, her ex-mate decided to kill all the family and members of The Crescent Moon Pack, reject her as his mate, and make the night of Luciana's eighteenth birthday so devastating. Luciana herself did not want to remember that night. But she was now nineteen years old. One year had passed in vain in her life now. But no matter, Luciana thought to herself over and over agai
Third POVElijah looked at Luciana who was still lying unconscious on the bed in the room with a very hard expression on his face, it was almost impossible to understand what Elijah was currently feeling and thinking about now. There was a deep frown on Elijah's forehead. Elijah who crossed his arms in front of his chest, and waited."How is she now?" Elijah asked in a low tone of voice. He tried not to disturb the concentration of Emrys and Josiah who were examining Luciana's current condition.Emrys sighed softly, as he lowered his open palms towards Luciana there. He finished checking Luciana's condition. "She's in shock, of course. Especially after everything that happened in her life, a year ago. And now, with her family heirloom gone. I think it would be best if she rested a little longer." Emrys muttered."That's right. She's still not in fully recovered. Adding all that baggage to her mind won't make it any easier for her to get better now." Josiah muttered and agreed with wha
I walked slowly alongside the rushing river, making my way towards the location of The Silver Moon Pack, Harrison Hux's pack. I have and continue to stabilize every footstep I take to be able to continue walking forward and forward to where I am now. I'm not going to dwell too much on my doubts anymore. I'm no longer even concerned with the pain and weakness that I can still feel all over my body right now. All I wanted now was certainty. Carrying a long, dark red cloth that I found in Elijah's closet could help me cover my entire body from head to toe. In the hope that no one else would be able to recognize me now.I stopped walking for a moment when I reached the gate of The Silver Moon Pack. I frowned as I realized that there were all sorts of luxurious decorations adorning all parts of the gate. On top of that, there were many immortals who had come and entered the pack's gate. With slow steps, I tried to sneak in among the many guests who were walking in their fancy clothes.Even
