Jax's Point of View

"How the hell did you know that?" barked Angelo while glaring at Nemesis coldly. He was ready to kill her as I saw him reaching for his gun and that made a small rage inside of me to build up.

"I told her." I stated coolly and he looked bewildered. Even I was confused, I always went around the rule that no one could be trusted but when I was around her, I felt safe enough to trust her with things I'm not too trusty with my own men. I could trust her and for a man with trust issues that said a lot about how I feel towards her. I blurted out a whole secret between me and two other men that I shouldn't have. God, she was going to be the death of me whether I liked it or not.

Angelo had scowled and walked out so I turned myself back to Nem. She was glaring daggers at Angelo as he walked out with clear hatred for him. They wouldn't get along and that gave me a head ache. A massive one but what else would I expect from them. They just had a dig at each other and dug it d

Reina's Point of ViewSpontaneous thinking. God it was so much fun to think of something that you would never do alone but do it with someone you absolutely hate. So, you know me being me the most amazing person Narc will ever meet, I realised that he doesn't have much adventure in his life and that was pretty much one of the saddest things in my books. Being involved in the mafia life meant that we were always cornered into being that person who was always protected because it could be our family on the line but I was always intrigued on what a normal life would be like.I'm pretty sure under his hard cold attitude he has always wondered it to. I bet you that he has never been to a theme park before. Oh my God. I am a total genius. I'll take him to a theme park. He'll be out for a couple more hours giving me the time to drive and reach a theme park before he wakes up.I arrived at the theme park and I saw Narc beginning to shift around waking up fully."Where the fuck are, we?" he gr

Reina's Point of View"One more surprise." I said to him. He probably doesn't have good memories and probably spent most of his somewhat called childhood training to be the best mafia leaders and did need pay off in the end as nearly the whole world fears him but nonetheless it's a pitiful childhood to look at. He has probably never even done the activity I have chosen and it'll take him very much to surprise.I parked and dragged hm to the beach. The beach where the sun was setting and it seemed absolutely gorgeous from any angle you looked at it and for people that can't appreciate the sun what the hell are you doing with your life? The sun was the most admirable part of nature and seemed beautiful. The sky was a mx between orange and red as if a whole thoroughly though out explosion had just occurred."it's beautiful, isn't it?" Narc stated while wrapping his strong arms around my hips and resting his chin on my head. He clearly noticed that I was mesmerised by it completely."it r

Reina's Point of ViewHe was a fucking annoying little twat? I wanted to choke his neck that my nails dg so deeply into his skin that it will have blood oozing out. He always found way to provoke me as if he would ever succeed to beat me in a fucking fight. So yeah, I challenged him to a fight.Stupid motherfucker can't win against me. Not even in his dreams. So here I was onto round two. I won the first round and looking at that scowl scarred on that bitch's lap. Narc walked in and that totally threw me of my game. I was jabbed right in the jaw. Fuck that hurt but I managed to regain myself and get on top and beat the crap out of him. I was punching and punching with no with remorse in my system just pure anger flowing in my blood pumping the hatred for him viciously. He was choking blood out and not to deny my psychoness or anything but I absolutely loved it. Seeing him suffer was my satisfaction. I felt a sudden pull on my body restraining me to hit him anymore. Who does we think i

Chapter Thirty Eight – SuspicionJax's Point of ViewThe gunshots were fired and my mind raced across all the possibilities of who was behind the attack and how they even managed to get the way around here. Of course, the first thing to come to mind will obviously will be the Milans but that only answers one question on who it was not the rest.My gang members had placed all their trust in me as I offered them safety and protection but now their bodies were dropping to the ground with no second words. Panic was now belittling my whole figure. I have to readjust myself if I'm going to put myself back in charge and help the people that I refer to as my brothers and sisters even if we are not blood since it's loyalty that binds us together not blood in the end.I am Jax Martinez. The American Mafia bosses. The one people fear and obey to my commands. Who the fuck did the Greek think they are busting in here and attack my family? They would pay for their actions with the harsh rage and fu

Reina's Point of ViewIt was dark. Pitch black. The last thing that I remembered was that I was sitting on the sofa watching Alvin and the Chipmunks in the lounge whilst waiting for Narc to return home and now I was here. Blinking rapidly, my eyes were attempting to adjust to where I was as well as the sense it would make for me to be here.A cell. I was in a fucking cell. What the actual fuck? It was dirty and dingy as per a usual cell. I tried looking for anything for a sign of hope but there was nothing in sight and being tied up to a chair also doesn't help us at all. Just then footsteps approached."Reina.""Jax." My tone was full of shock a confusion that he was behind all of this, "what the hell is this?"He was smoking a cigarette while coming closer; he looked hot. No. No. No. Reina focus. He has you locked in a cell for no reason and you are going to get the answer that you truthfully deserve."You thought you could get away with deceiving me and my men?" he questioned with

Reina’s Point of ViewSweat dripping on my forehead as the immense amount of fear begins to overwhelm me and now can be seen in my legs shaking vigorously in hopes that it would leave my body but miserably failed. Reina, look around you. A rope that was loosely put on her neck not even tied up, hands that are firmly secured together with no way out, and a closed gate which could be the only potential escape root out of this stupid cell but we all know the stupid man that put me in here.To think that he truly was falling in love with me is something that I no longer believe; I refuse to believe that he has any common sense or the ability to use his feeling for someone to override the possibility of doing something that they were not capable of committing to the other person. He was now the man that I hated. Not pausing to think had just led to him jumping to a conclusion. A very much hurtful conclusion. A conclusion for an accused rat. Someone that they would slowly torture and burn a

Jax’s Point of ViewOne year since Reina died. Correction. One year since I murdered Reina. There’s no longer a point in life. Constantly feeling demotivated has become a norm in my daily hectic life. She has me some sort of hope in a happily ever after, but I was being way too fast to act hastily and now she was gone. It’s four in the morning and I was up just like any other day. Nightmares after nightmares every night. I was responsible for her death and now I was paying the price. The moment of her telling me that she loves me replays a million times in my head while I’m sleeping or at the back of my head when I wake up. "I love you even if you don't love me back and when you know the truth, you'll just hate yourself." Every word she uttered in that still instant turned and rolled into the truth. I found out my worst enemy who was the root cause of the attack that the Milans had all planned out and now I can’t even stand myself. Guilt overrides me every day as there’s no rest for

Reina’s Point of ViewRussia is a very much beautiful country. Yes, I said Russia. Once Angelo told me to head to the airport I headed straight for Spain. Madrid to be perfectly accurate and it was horrible. Not the country, no. The glowing sun would radiate my skin, so it was golden; the perfect glow to take some pictures and there were so many that I did take. The beaches and all the food were too good to be a true package deal of a holiday, but it was him. Narc, I mean Jax. He kept appearing everywhere I was accusing me of being the traitor. The whole moment with the rope would always be on replay at the back of my mind. He had haunted my dreams and my sleep patterns were totally disrupted and now messed up because of him. The man who ruined my entire life by jumping to conclusions too quickly. Hell, I couldn’t give two shits if he was crying his eyes out because at the end of the day what’s done is done. He can’t take back what he did, and he most certainly can’t take back the fa

Jax’s Point of ViewI was on the phone with Angelo when she was dragging me out of that stupid dirty burrito shop. Despite the shop looking infested with pests, the burrito itself was nice. It seems to have a delicious taste no matter how much the presentation sucked. She pulled me towards her while giving me her phone to take photos. All I could hear was Angelo’s voice on the other side but my mind was focused on her. Her jet black hair was the same coconut scent it always was. Her dark brown skin glowed effortlessly. She was perfect in every sort of way. I took photos in every angle, capturing her gorgeous beauty. I could stare at her all day and never get bored; she would always hold my heart in her hands. She could tell me to do something and I fucking would. She literally owns me. She owns every part of me.I cut the phone on Angelo and moved towards her. I sent the photos to my phone before handing her phone to her.“God, the view is perfect,” she sighed under her breath. My eye

Reina’s Point of ViewAs soon as the doorbell rang, there was a gun pointed at Narc’s face and I instantaneously drew out my gun. I looked up to meet one of the most well known criminals in the world.Harlow River Cortez. The woman, who rules most of Europe and South America, has men trembling at the sight of her. Her grey eyes bore onto Jax’s, serious and solemn; if she wanted to she could kill everyone. Started her own legacy in Mexico with the cartel, she then expanded to multiple countries and powerful men bowed down to her both willingly and in fear. Honestly, in the mafia world, she is the most powerful man and everyone knew not to mess with her because she gave no damn to excuses, no hesitation to castrating and no fucks to someone’s worth.France was her territory and whether or not we got the permission from her, we would be killed. So the next few seconds with the wrong words would only cost us our life.“Cortez, lovely to see you again.” Jax stated calmly.“Want to tell me,

I had one chance to win her over and give her a reason to forgive me. I know that she would never fully forgive me and to me that was completely understandable. She owns every single part of me whether I liked it or not. She manages to cause a whirlpool in my mind, only focusing on her, I love her too much to ever let her go.She fell asleep slowly after our conversation in the car, leaving me to my thoughts. I only had two nights and three days before leaving and there were way too many activities to do in the city of love. I had a couple planned already. By the time we reached the airport, she was deep asleep and I had no plan to ruin her peace so I carried her into the private plane and laid her in her seat while, I took the seat next to her.The plane ride went quite quickly and it was around 2 in the morning when we landed in Paris and as no surprise Reina was still fast asleep. She could probably sleep for 15 hours and still want more sleep. I carried her into the hotel and laid

“Language sweetheart and the date will be in Paris”.My mouth gaped open while a couple of butterflies swarmed in my stomach with his gruff voice nicknaming me ‘sweetheart’. Paris. He wanted to take me to Paris: the city of love, the city of romance and the city of everlasting sex. If he wanted to do anything like that with me, it would have to be after I’m dead and in the afterlife because no way in hell would I let him touch me. Not even with 10 foot pole.I hate how he made me feel but I wouldn’t let him come near me again. Not after what he did. He killed me and felt no remorse. Well, not until he realised I wasn’t the rat and it was his own best friend.“I am not going to Paris with you because I have a job over here and some paperwork to do,” I stated plainly and turned on my heel making my way back into the house, but before I could make it three steps his hand grabbed my hips, forcing me to look him in his eyes.“Too late, baby. I’ve already bought some McDonalds chicken nugge

Jax’s Point of View“Dress fancy but not too fancy, Nem. It’s a date,” I said while leaning into kissing her forehead and then left for the door. Heading back to my office, I found Serephina standing outside.“You asked her on a date?” she asked me raising her eyebrows.“Not that its any of your bus-““No, you stupid cunt. It is all of my business if it involves my best friend since you fucked up big last time,” she interrupted giving me a stare.“Ok, fine. Yes I am taking her on a date. Happy?”“No because I want to organise it with Ade,”“Ade?” I questioned.“Adelina, dumbass,” she rolled her eyes.“No, I want to organise it,” I declared in a definite tone.“Ha, fat chance, loser!” she scoffed while turning away. Soon, she realised that I wasn’t joking at all and turned to me. Paused and looked me dead in the eye.“Hold on, you’re not joking,”“No.”“Ok, but take notes mentally while we walk,” she said as she carries on walking in the way to her office, “She hates the colour pink. Chapter Ten – ElevatorReina’s Point Of ViewMy eyes fluttered open when the sunlight blinded my eyes through the curtains. I swear to God, I just want to kill myself whenever I can never sleep in. It was honestly the worst thing that could happen to me. Ugh fuck, I’ve got a headache already. I barely even drank anything. No, wait. I did drink quite a bit. I pulled the duvet over my face, forcing the light out of my face. The duvet felt so soft and nice and was the dark interior shade that I loved. Hold on. Pause. My house only has a light interior since I couldn’t find one with a dark interior. Where the hell was I?I instantly shot up from the bed, squinting across the room. The grey lamp which gave a white light, the bedside wardrobe which was carefully organized, and the ginormous bed that I slept in were the same as the room I slept in when I lived with Jax. No. I did not sleep with him and that was for certain. Memories of last night faded back into my knowledge. While graspi

Jax’s Point Of ViewShe grabbed my tie making our eyes hold contact, “Just because I don’t want you, doesn’t mean that I don’t have a dire urge for sex? If you won’t give it to me, someone else will,”The thought of someone else touching her made my blood boil while adrenaline pumped viscously through my vein. It shrouded over my judgment and the only thing I could think about was her and me together. Unbearable. The sexual tension was unbearable; I couldn’t let myself act out and go out with her when that would be too fast and that would hurt her. Her hands gripped harshly on my tie only turned me on more. Reminding me of our past, she wanted power. All the power that she could get in the world but with me. I provoked her power belittled it but when truly her powers were hidden under the most infamous name in history ‘The Black Hunter’. I would be lucky and honored to have her by my side but all that was on my mind at the moment was how much I wanted to hear her say my name while ha

He thinks he can buy his way back into my heart. It just made my blood boil; he can’t have thought that he could do that but yet there was tenderness. A tenderness that warms my heart when he kissed my hand. A gentlemanly side of him that I would doubt anyone other than me had seen. He said he would support my dreams and giving me that amount of land did way more than that. It could provide me my legacy and I would be known and don’t even get me started on the amount of money I could have.Whether he was being sincere or not, life goes on, and right now I had to go to my office to think about what the hell I was going to do? As I made my way upstairs, I ran into Adelina and Seraphina who was at the receptionist’s office gossiping.“Hey, what are you two gossiping about?” I asked them as I gave them a look. Both of them turned to each other.“Someone just went into your office and locked so we can’t even check who it is. So instead we are playing the guessing game,” Ade replied softly,

Jax’s Point Of ViewI own 100,00 hectares of New York. My name was the most powerful here and people fear me but she doesn’t. She never has and never will. Challenged me at every single point that I had seen her; she was a game that I shouldn’t have played. I should have resisted her but I didn’t. The temptation befell me more than you would think. She was worth better than anyone that I had ever met. So, why not make her my equal in everything. What better way to start it than giving her equal power over my land. She’ll deny it for the sake of her pride. It exceeds beyond her. She’ll never admit that she desired the land that I was willing to offer but in front of her board members, who do have the company’s best interest in heart. There was no way she could refuse. So, I organized a meeting, there and then when she left me at the receptionist. In case you couldn’t realize, I’ll do anything to win her back.“Mr. Martinez, what can I do for you?” Rufus, the head of the board.“I have
