Jennifer's POV

When we arrived at the buffet, we sat at a table big enough to seat all of us. Lucien pulled my seat out for me and sat next to me afterward. I could see Tom trying to sit next to Lucien on his other side, but Alissa quickly sat down.

"I hope it is okay if I sit next to my cousin. I haven't seen him in so long," Alissa said, looking at Tom, who only nodded. After everyone got their food, we made small talk.

"Lucien, I was hoping you and I could spend some time together. Maybe go out to a movie and dinner so we can catch up while I am here," Alissa said, causing everyone to look at her.

"Sure, I am sure Jennifer wouldn't mind if we went out to eat and to the movies with you, Right Jennifer?" Lucien asked as he turned to look at me.

"Of course, I don't mind," I said with a smile, and he smiled back at me.

"I was thinking maybe the two of us could hang out alone. Like we used to do when we were younger," Alissa said.
