Claire's POV

"Now is not the right time for this, Gwen. Claire doesn't need any stress," Stephen said

"I am not trying to stress her out, Stephen; I just want to talk to her," Gwen said

"Then say what you want to say," Steven said

"I said I wanted to talk to her alone," Gwen said

"That's not going to happen," Stephen said

"Can all of you calm down? You are giving me a headache," I said. I was already tired of them arguing.

"I am sorry, Angel," Steven said and kissed the top of my head

"Can the two of you give us a moment alone so I can talk to Gwen?" I asked, shocking them

"I don't think that is a good idea, Princess. Not after everything that happened," Stephen said

"I need to hear what she has to say. Please," I said

"Fine. But we will be right outside the door," Stephen said, and Stephen and Steven left the room.

I looked at Gwen to see her already staring at me. I could tell she was nervous by the expression on her face.

Gwen, really, drop the "she's my mate" attitude. First learn to nehave like a deserving mate, secondly act like a true Beta, cause right now, you're nth but a pathetic brat. The twins better handle the council wisely, they seem power hungry and biased.
