Claire's POV

"You didn't eat meat for a whole year," Gwen asked

"Yeah, my grandfather was a hunter, and I walked in on him beheading a chicken when I was twelve. I felt sick when I saw someone eating a piece of chicken," I said

"I couldn't imagine going a day without a burger," Gwen said

"If you saw what I did. I'm sure you would have stopped eating meat, too," I said, and she looked at me with a weird expression

"What," I asked

"Nothing," she said, and we were quiet for a moment, just looking into each other's eyes.

"It's your turn," She said

"I don't know what to ask. You can go again," I said

"Have you ever been with a girl?" she asked

"No, Have you," I asked

"No, but you want to know a secret," Gwen asked

"I have always been attracted to women, but I know my father won't approve. That's why I dated James all through high school," She said
