Claire's POV

"Are you alright, Angel?" Steven asked as we entered our bedroom. I had to get away from Jenn. I couldn't believe she thought I only wanted to be in control and didn't care for her. All I wanted was to protect her. She was my little sister, and I loved her.

"I can't believe Jenn wants to leave and accused me of wanting to control her. She is not old enough to move to the Palace with King Lucien. She is only a child," I said

"I understand what you are saying, and I know how much you love your sister, but she has a good reason to be upset at you," Steven said, and I looked at him. I knew he was right, but I didn't do any of that to be in control.

"You are saying it like I don't know that, Steven," I said

"Do you?" I looked over to see Gwen standing at the door of our bedroom.

"Yes, I do. I know I was wrong," I said
