Chapter 56: Another Friend

A soft knock came on the door before I was able to push my body off the door. I sensed it was Erix right away. But really, who else would be knocking on our bathroom door?

Woah, ours? Where did it come from? It's not yet ours, and it's his. I'm just a guest in his room. Erix is being hospitable by letting me stay here. That's all.

"I know," he finished. "I understand. This is just one of those side effects of being claimed. Your body doesn't know how to handle all your newfound emotions. They are intertwined with mine, and it will confuse you a lot."
